It is AARP, who we are with. But it is a call center that does that annoying 3 seconds of silence before someone speaks and they didn't know they were calling the wife at the husband's office (she's never here). Said they were trying to "reach out" to customers this time of year. Sounded legit, but poorly managed.

I had AARP Health Supplement to Medicare for a few years when I became eligible for Medicare. Their rates kept going up to epic proportions. I finally dropped them and went to a lower rate with a reputable company. AARP kept calling me asking me to stay with them. Why would I stay with them when they charged $200 and $300 more than the next company, all for the very same benefits.
