I have several calls from this number stating that they are the IRS and that I have a $10,000 loan that they are trying to recover and if I press number one they will help me pay it or I would be going to jail. I just need them to stop calling because it's phony

I got call from this number.. saying there was with internal revenue service that I had fraud on my tax from2012 -2016.. I go to the same tax person every year... said they was going take legal charge on me if I didn't pay the amount

Allegedly from the IRS stating an arrest warrant has been issued in my name for unpaid taxes.

It is a scam.

The IRS does not initiate contact via a phone call, they first send postal letters.
The IRS does not threaten arrest.
The IRS does not demand immediate payment over the phone.
The IRS does not ask for Credit card, Debit card, or prepaid money card information, at all.

It is a scam ran by offshore criminals attempting to trick you into sending them money.
