Got a call from a man with an Indian or Pakistani accent offering me "compensation" if I had undergone surgery in the past. I asked where he was calling from and he said "The Medical Department." I asked him which medical department, and he said Houston, Texas. I said I had never had surgery in Houston and then he said it didn't matter. I asked if it had to do with a class action lawsuit, and he said "we just want to provide you with compensation if you had surgery. Did you have surgery?" I said it was none of his business unless he could tell me more about the reason for his call and why I might be due compensation. Then he said something I couldn't understand and hung up.
