received call and message left about calling a number about IRS threat. This is a fake. didn't call back. IRS does its doom day by mail.

Caller hung up part way through my outgoing message. A legitimate caller would wait and leave a message.

Got call and delay on voice caller I.D. mode finally said Bremen, Georgia. caller was gone before I could pick up. I called back number and got a very unpleasant male voice speaking what sounded like Spanish, asking a short question.  I hung up...

Called but left no message.

Woman caller asked to speak with my mother's name.  I told her that was my mom and that she had the wrong number.  She said, "Oh, ok" and hung up.  Likely a scam or telemarketer since she didn't ask for my mother's number (not that I would have given it to her).  However, if she had real business with her, I would assume she'd ask how she could get in touch with her...

That just happened to me too.
