I got a call from this number a couple of days ago.  The instant I heard "This is not a sales call," I hung up.

Called at twice in a row. 1:22AM and 1:23AM. They need to be put in jail.

Robocall from First GuardAlarm (www.firstguardalarm.com).  Website has no address, but they have several telesales jobs open in Irvine, CA through indeed.com claiming $150000/yr.  Although glassdoor.com responses believe that's a farce.

Called me and I didn't answer. Showed up as a number from Georgia. No voicemail.

Not a scam not telemarketers. Police trap calls police fishing for info to confirm suspects identity. Normally a federal practice. If they are calling you, you are a suspect in an investigation.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever read. First you say it's police, then you say it's a Federal practice. Dumb. If you are a suspect in an investigation - they generally come and just ask the questions, since you know....they can.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Called but didn't leave a message.

Just called me on my cell phone. Couldn't answer since I was at work and I don't know anyone in this state. No voicemail was left, but it seems it's a good thing that I missed the call. Spam call for security system it seems. These type of calls needs to stop, its getting annoying!!

Received call from this number, didn't answer as was in meeting @ work... no voice mail left.
I'm not calling them back, even though I love Georgia area :)

didn't pick up, but I assumed since it was from Georgia, and I don't know anyone from Georgia, it was spam. sent it to voicemail and went back to sleep
