Cathy Ingram from Fair View Mediation Group called stating she has several pending cases against me. She wants for me to call her to verify my address and place of employment. If they have cases against me they should already have that info????? They voice mail is choppy and the can't even say my name correctly. This is a scammer for sure and they are just trolling phone numbers to scare people into paying money thru pre-paid cards, they know we have received stimulus checks and they want that money for themselves!!!!!!!!

I don’t know why they’d need to verify my job and address, shouldn’t they be mailing hard copies (therefore have my address) if this were truly legitimate? When I googled the number one FB page came up then several residential GA listings. Nothing seems right about it.

Yes. if this were legitmate, you would receive documents in the mail, or by process server, and they would have your address. If she calls again, tell her to follow the law by mailing you proof of the debt along with proof they're legally entitled to collect said debt. Refusal to do so for any reason is proof of the scam.
