Called- didn't leave a message and when I called back it was the University of Chicago Hospital... who of course "do(es) not keep a record of outgoing calls"

Received a call from this number at 6:29 AM.  They didn't leave a message.  They hung up after it went to my voice mail.

this is the general # for u of chicago hospitals.

got a call. hung up after listening to my voicemail.

Me tooo!  Got a missed call, check vm and the person on the other end hung up!  weird!

have a family in the hospital. Got 2 calls from this number.
No message. When I returned the call no one knew why they had called. Bizarre.

2:24 PM today. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. No voice mail was left by the caller.

This number called and left no message yesterday!  Bother.

Got a call on my cell phone today. Was dialing my number. Said they had a wrong number but would not just let go. Male was saying he was calling from a hospital. I asked why. No clear answer. I repeatedly asked who he was trying to reach. No clear answer. Said he was trying to get business or shop. Pushed further and said a place like FedEx. I finally hanged up asfter repeating this was a wrong number. Entire exchange was really weird.

Got two calls to my cell; answered, caller new my name, then we got disconnected.  I know several people from Chicago, coincidentally at the UofChicag. They (it) called again 4 hours later but this time I did not answer.  Perhaps UofC's database has been hacked?

I received other calls like this one a few months ago, but from Utah or Idaho or whatever.  Caller asked if I knew how to use a computer, then hung up.  This smells like scamorweirdway of collecting information.

I keep getting fax "calls" from them for days.  It is so annoying.

Got a call from this number and left a voicemail. Said it was a lady named sally asking to call back cause I had the day off or I could pick another day. Must work at the chicago hospital like everyone has been saying. Weird. I dont work there, been there or know her.

Got a call @ 3:38 pm left a voice mail and said it was Colleen answering a page. I could either call and have her paged or she would try back in 5 minutes.  I do not know a Colleen and she did not call back.

Received a call from this number 2 days in a row. I live in TN and do not know or have never been to Chicago.

I received a call from a, David Carmady stating he was referred to me.  Did not state the department or company he was calling from, only indicated he was calling from Chicago and was responding to email correspondence.   Sounds fishy an unprofessional.  

It's an automated call from the University of Chicago Hospital to confirm your upcoming appointment. This is not spam.

Human caller got through my Sentry Call Blocker 2.0. He was asking for someone named "Sara Lee". I told him he had the wrong number. No such person with that name lives at my house. I looked up the number and it is a legitimate number from the University of Chicago hospital. My elderly mom will have surgery but with a different hospital with Resurrection Hospital in the northwest side of Chicago not in the far southside University of Chicago.
