Sooooo sick of these calls I started taking the yes option today and then when they answer i keep hitting or holding down a number on the keypad....jerks. I'm on the do not call list also....grrrrrrrrr

They are calling from Mitt Romney - for donations.

Continuous calls.  I consider this an invasion of privacy.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, but still get them all the time.  Since I don't have a way to call them back, I have no way to complain or to opt out.

I used to be on the DNCL and got boat-loads of telemarketers. Since I removed my number, there's hardly any.

I got a campaign call and being super duper stupid gave a contribution and had to cancel my debit card because without documentation they can charge your card whatever they want and the bank can't get it back for you.  It is my fault but I had had a couple glasses of wine.

Legit telemarketers follow the do not call laws.   the calls you started to receive were crooks and scam artists only

They called me today at 9:46am PDT. Did not leave a message. Tried to call back and get an "All Circuits Are Busy" or a Reorder signal (fast busy). That means they are making a lot of calls,. or someone is.

I tried calling a block of numbers sequentially and they are all doing this.

BTW- It wasn't KOOL-AID, it was Flavor Aid, but we get the idea.

I'm definitely NOT voting for Romney now.  How can he possibly think this is helping his campaign?  He must be desperate.

But remember, folks, it can be stopped by using an asterisk based telephone server, and a cheap digital phone service, if you want some examples, please ask, las I don't want to sppear as a spammer. Asterisk or freeswitch, you can send a "hangup 1" which translates to a SIP 404 meaning "not in service: this fools the computer into thinking that the line is out of service, therefore removing your # from its database.

I guess they used up all the 360 and 202 area codes already. I just got a dead air call on the house phone from this #.
