They call everyday but they don’t leave a voicemail.Today my wife answered the phone and she told them before I give you my name,I want you to know that this call is being monitored and recorded by the FBI and as soon as she tells them that they say your number will be removed from our calling list

Will not state what's the call about wanting me to agree that I'm responsible for this call. Then being unprofessional about it

Called on a Saturday stating this call is being recorded.  Mentioned my name and asked me to verify my address.  I immediately hung up and blocked the number.

This is a scam. If this was truly a debt collector they would not ask you for your name. Do not release any information to them. If they didn’t mail you any paperwork do not give them any of your information.

That doesn't make any sense.  If they don't ask who you are then how would they know who they are talking to?  As to letters, well they are not required to send them out before they make first contact and I don't know of any that do send them out first.  That is unfortunately a flaw in the way the law was written.

Calls all the time, never leaves message.  I blocked these idiots.  I do not have time for them, but vengeance is mine sayeth the lord.

Did not leave a message but caller ID identified them as a debt collector....glad I was screening....

Definitely a collection agency "Credit Collection Services". Called my phone a few times, no message left. I looked up the number and called them back, they were looking for someone else that had my phone number before me 8 years ago. Death, Taxes and Debt Collectors.......

Called repeatedly hang up when i answer. I called them back they asked for me by name. When i asked what the call was about they refuse to tell me unless i give them my birthday. I told them im not giving out any personal information i already told them i was who they are looking for and i wont divulge any more personal info without a reason for the call... they wouldnt tell me i told them to remove my number.

came up on call id,  then disconnected,  no person  nothing

Threatening me with jail time and make public my information if I didn't pay a debt that wasn't mine.

4/7/23 my landline caller id indicated a call from CCS Office 781- 566-8000 . No message was left. I asked google about the telephone number. Indicated it was scammers.

Debt collectors do not leave messages for various legal reasons.  As to whether it was a legitimate call or not can not be determined if you are scared to death to talk to them.
