Received a call from this number. Long pause after I said hello and then the person was stumbling all over themselves, trying to pronounce someone else's name. No idea who the caller was or who they were trying to reach. My guess is scammer or bill collector with a wrong number. Considering I've had this number for decades, who knows. I told them wrong number and hung up!

They keep calling.  I don't pick up. They don't leave messages, but keep calling... so I blocked them.

Whoever called hung up as soon as I asked who is calling. If you refuse to identify yourselves, expect no acknowledgement that you've reached me, much less expect me to put up with whatever BS you're trying to pull.

Same as Amy above. When I asked who was calling they hung up on me. I called them back to tell them to remove my number and got an answering machine saying no one was available to answer and to leave a message. I hung up. They are either zombie debt collectors or scammers...which really are the same thing in a way.

They call, at times they don't say anything when I answer and then hang up. once they told me someone was looking for me and want going to sue me, they are giving me a courtesy call and I should take down a case # and call another # for information on who and why they want to sue me....... I owe money to NO ONE, its bull!!

Answered call and they stated that they were National Locators & that a civil lawsuit was being prepared against me.  Gave me a case # and told to call 877-208-1488.  All i could get out of them (Blackford, Stevens & Associates)  was they wouldn't give any info out without a case#.  when given the case # they say it's a minor matter & easily cleared up. - It is a SCAM to get you to send money on a made up threat of civil action!  When I started asking questions to find out more, they naturally hung up.  If you call these numbers they act as if its legitimate. - Don't fall for it!

Oh, it's these idiot scammers again. CID showed Miami FL. Since I don't know anyone in Miami, I, of course, didn't answer. No message was left.

They have been calling me for about a week. No one says anything. No voice mail. Im a ID theft victim and my number is on the FTC do not call list.Any legit business will send something in writing.

The first called and said to call another number to find out details about a case being filed against me and providedcase number znd phone number. He refused to give any other information and stated it was against Federal privacy act. When I called the second number the person claimed I had an outstanding debt from greater than twenty yrs ago. Then they started reciting personal information about me and ask for confirmation. When I mentioned I needed to contact my lawyer he said do that and call me back. He was very rude and nasty. Big scam flag sleet when he messed up on date of debt. They need to be stopped because these [***] are trying to get money!!! Not from me!!!

Called the number back and answering machine said "national locators"

Received call from this number and he stated he was looking for XXXXXX, I never said it was me.  He went on and said that he was from National Locators and a complaint has been placed against me. I told him to file it in the courts and do not call me again.    I then hung up and called blocked ...SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SCAM !!!!!!!!!!

Caller looking for me told me that I had a complaint against me and wanted to give a number for me to call to clear the matter up before litigation papers were served. I am debt free and I live in Duluth MN. I deal only in Mn with my job. So, jokes on them, I swore at the woman and hung up.
