have called 5 times today first call 10am just got the 5th call at 5pm. keep asking for Mr. Chandler.
told the lady not no but for the 5th time H*LL NO! and of course she just hangs up. i tried to call number back says its disconnected.
tried to block call and call block wont work for some reason.
area code 786 is in flordia it covers dade & broward county.
the flordia keys are also in this area code.

the prefix 522 is suspected to be a spoof from whomever opererating in the city of Miami

Get several calls a week......all times during the day and evening. We do not answer, but let it ring until they hang up.

why won't the fcc do something about these scam calls? this is just idiotic. they never say anything when you answer but they call 5-10 times a day. wish i knew who it was i would like to discuss this in person.

I just recieved a call from the same #. I answered and it said thank you for callin, please wait for a operator. Wait a minute. I called?? I have to wait? I don't think so. FCC should get rid of the do not call list and have a list for please call, I have no life. So everyone on the please call list will get called and the rest of us will be happy.

I was just woken up by the number calling my house number but i was not able to answer it in time. I thought it might be a family member because I used to live in Miami. I tried to call the number back and it says that the number is not receiving calls at this time... Why the hell would someone thats a generic number calling other people around florida be calling someone in Kentucky?

phone just rang and when i saw he call is from florida i didnt pick up (from the west coast here)....our number is supposed to be unlisted (not to mention you have to pay for that anyways...) so how in the world do those people get our numbers????

Even though this is considered a S. Florida phone exchange it may actually be coming from out of the country (i.e. Costa Rica, etc.). It is possible to get this type of exchange phone number so people think it's coming from inside the country...plus it's cheaper for the company than doing international calls. They pay a monthly fee for this service. It is either a tele-marketing company or a debt collector. Just my guess. That's the only scum that would do this kind of thing. Another number that I know is really out of Costa Rica is 305-459-3535. This one definately is tele-marketing company.

This number broke my heart cause I thought it was my missing husband but by the sound of this blog that just could not be true so wherever he is I can only hope he is safe and that our two sons get to see their daddy someday when all this painfully horrible nightmare is over

When this number called me, I could barely hear a dam word the guy was saying. There was so much noise in the background I can't honestly say if it was a guy or not. They had to ask me 3 times if I was there, just to get a lie and say I wasn't. They didn't give me any info about the call, and they didn't give me a chance to ask anything. When I tried calling them back, it would sit for about 15 sec, then I would get a dial tone and couldn't dial.
Next time they call, ask them who they are, what they want, and why they keep calling your house. If they don't give any kind of answer, give them the biggest lie you can think of. I'm going to try telling them that if they insist on calling me repeatedly, I'm going to the......FBI to find out who they are and what they want, or something equally [***]. We don't tolerate scammers and telemarketers calling our house, so we come up with random lies to tell and jokes to pull whenever they call. Once, I pretended I was having aggressive sex, and I never heard from the telemarketer again.
I hope to find out who really owns this number and what they want. Good luck to everyone who gets a call from this number!

Hey, I like that one. I had someone calling 12-20 times a day and couldn't block them so I just used call forwarding and every call I had went to them  THEY STOPPED CALLING.

I am receiving calls from 786-522-6168 asking weird questions like, do I smoke Marlboro cigarettes or does anyone in my family have diabetes?  I am on a no call list.
