Got a call from this number. Caller ID came up as "Department of Veterans Affairs." The area code is PUERTO RICO! I did a google search for this number and it does appear to belong to a VA clinic in Puerto Rico. I have been getting weird calls from various VA phone numbers, but this is the weirdest so far, since I haven't even set foot on Puerto Rico in 30 years and they claim they are calling foe some other guy named "Michael." Not sure if it is the real VA calling or someone is spoofing their numbers for a scam of some kind.

Someone called me at my home phone, which I seldom use or give the number to anyone. The person immediately asked me "to whom am I speaking " and I asked him in return "to whom you want to speak?" Without giving me any kind of information. He claimed that someone called him from my home and gave me my phone number, which was impossible because I wasn't at home and my husband was at work and no one was in the house. He claimed that this phone was from "work" but he only asked for information about whom he was talking to and didn't present himself or the company that he allegedly represent.
