- GRKI've been getting these scam calls for months. Usually from HP Tech Support or MS Tech Support. I almost fell for it the first time, but came to my senses when I realized what was being tried. The calls persist, and I do what i can to play with these India "John, Jack, Mark, etc" phonies. I even told them I was an FBI agent, and loudly whispered to my wife to "start the trace." They hung up. I once told them that I knew where they were, and that "they would be smart to vacate the building, as I was only minutes away from their location with a fully loaded M-16 and was going to take them ALL to meet the Devil himself." They still persist! Next time...an airhorn blast.

- Happy 2 HelpHad been ignoring this call for a while. Finally decided to answer. The foreigner said he was with Windows. Wanted to speak to my husband since it was his phone. I informed him that my husband passed away a few months ago. He raddled on about the hackers and then wanted me to turn on my husband's computer. I informed him that I didn't have his password but he insisted that I turn it on and they would be able to give me the password. Even though I new these guys were up to no good. I figured if they could give me the password then I would finally be able to handle my husband's estate. So I turned it on. They gave me what to do but it didn't work. So I asked for their corporate number after which he hung up. I have since disconnected all my computers from the internet and will only plug them in when needed. They cannot access your stuff if it's not connected to the net. Keeping my fingers crossed 😆 Fraudsters!

- LindaI got the call yesterday. Told me he was from Microsoft. I told him I had an Apple computer. So he said he was from Apple. I told him I didn't have Microsoft on my computer. He insisted I turn on my computer due to various warnings they were getting. I told him I was at work, my computer was at home. He told me to call him back. His number showed as 624. Then he gave me 800-102-1222 and 800-102-1100 and told me to call once I was home that he was really from Apple. He even told me to google the number. These idiots are crazy!

- AJ| 1 replytwo different people got on phone saying it was about support for my computer. I played along and asked them if they had my computer ready, and they immediately said yes of course. I put husband on the phone who continued to play along with their scam. They put someone else on the phone who started to try to get information from us. We asked them for their number and he gave 1-800-102-1100. We told him that they had reached a precinct - and they did not know what that us. At that time we told them we were NYPD and that they had reached a police precinct. He immediately got defensive and said "you do an investigation" "you are at 791 Manor Road" (which we are not). Eventually he hung up. PLEASE FOLLOW UP on this scam -- they are targeting seniors and this is a real threat.

- WeezerI hit a site last year and Trojan virus started downloading onto my laptop. Then a Toll Free 1-800 Microsoft support number came flashing on to my screen urgeing me to call them immediately. It's Techzone USA Inc address: 12243 214th Street, Hawaiian Gardens, CA90716. Unfortunately they scammed me $399.99 dollars - I thought they were Microsoft. 18 months later I'm receiving calls from +1(800)102-1100 contacting me about my "autorenewal" that I've authorised. I have reported them to www.actionfraud.police.uk

- Caller: Claim to be Microsoft
- YawnJust another scumbag claiming to fix computers for microsoft, but we've heard it many dozens of times already.
Their computers will likely call here, using a long list of fake numbers, until the end of time.
Someone needs to market a blocker that will cause the telemarketers to waste their time,
perhaps diverting them to a series of numbers or waiting periods before hanging up.- Caller: 800 Service

- Meri CI got a call from these guys about an hour ago, just a voice recording stating Microsoft had detected a security problem and to enter 9 to speak with a tech, then the call disconnected. Like many others, I start grilling these guys right back. Asking things like which computer are you referring to, which OS, key # , etc. They usually hang up and don't call back. I did call the 800# and got a rapid bzz.
