They just called 10:14am on a sunday no one there then it hangs up

Pre-recorded phone call to business line.  12:30 on a Sunday is a really strange time to be trying to get business leads.  Part of the call did get captured by the voicemail: "...Partners calling in regards to a Merchant Account.  Recent regulations have changed the way you process credit card payments.  You may incur additional liability and and increase in processing costs.  Please call us at 800-215-6523 M-F between the hours of 8AM and 5PM CST.  Again our number is 800-215-6523. Thank you."  So this does look like it was explicitly trying to get sent to voicemail, but that may not work very well in all cases.  Frankly, this sounds like a very poorly thought out telemarketing campaign.  May try calling from a Google Voice number to see if I can get more information.

Dirt bags called on a Sunday for some credit card scam.   Want me to call them back M-F 8-5.  Scumbags don't want to be bothered on weekends, but their Robocall machine is free to bother me.

Robot calling about an update to our company credit card terminals.....which we do not have.

called me at 4:30pm,nobody speaking.

No message or no one  other end. Calling 4:40 Pm on Sunday.

Called our office at 11:46 *PM* last night. Caller ID listed the number and "800 Service ". Got part of a pre-recorded message in voice mail that sounded like one of those credit card processing scammers.

Scumbags call businesses after hours, holidays and weekends. Seems to be their MO.

Dirt bags called me at 9:20 pm PDT to wake me up to listen to their stupid robocaller.  I really hate this.

Called my business at 9:20 p.m.  Seriously?

930 at night - didn't answer - no message left - I hope they never call any later!

Called at 9:55 PM  - No one on other end - so frustrating!

called home office at 9:51 at night PST  then disconnects.

Isn't it illegal to telemarket after 9:00 PM WTF!!!!!!

The times allowed for legal telemarketing calls are from 8am to 9pm only. Those legal telemarketers who follow the donotcall registry guidelines adhere to the list and the times allowed (well, except for a few who think they can get away with it but are quickly caught). However, illegal scammers who spoof numbers and are often out of the US in other countries where the US has no jurisdiction make up their own rules and times. That is why everyone gets constant calls from these scammers.
It is unfortunate but that is what happens.

Called several times after 9pm. No message. I do not answer 800 hundred calls. Is there a way to block these calls on an IPhone?
