    Refuse to be a victim

I received a call from a man who called himself David Wolf. He claimed to be working on a case against me for a pay day loan company that had sent me to collections. He had information about me that was outdated, and I had not taken out any kind of loan for the time period he was talking about. when I told him that he said sometimes it shows up as a different date when really it could have been from as many as 3 month prior to that. I repeated that I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me the amount was nearly $4,000, but that I could settle for $800 if I paid today. I refused to pay over the phone and without documentation. then he said I could make a counter offer for less, and that would take care of the debt. He mentioned the word fraud, and going to court and so on and so forth. He claimed they had sent me documentation to a previous address and that was considered "service". He then threatened me saying they could come to my work and serve me. He did send an email, from a company I have never heard of collecting for a company I have never heard of either. The company the email was sent from was RightSignature.com. The email itself lead me to a link with a letter demanding payment from a company called UFC Recovery Specialist claiming the original creditor was Kingston Marketing LLC. I have never heard of any of these companies. When researching online the only information I could find about UFC Recovery Specialist were similar complaints about fraudulent calls threatening people, and demanding payment over the phone. This is without a doubt a scam!! Don't fall for it. They called from multiple phone numbers as well including: 800-216-9612; 877-283-1804; 360-342-6462; 866-426-8611.

Refuses to be a victim replies to Slim
I KNOW I do not money to these people. It was a company I had never heard of, and cannot find any information on except similar complaints about fraudulent calls. He refused to give me any written information except a letter demanding payment. It did not give any information about where the debt was from, or even when I supposedly got the money. When I asked him those questions directly he danced around the subject. I am reporting it to the BBB, Federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney General. Nothing may come out of it, but at least I didn't allow myself to be made a victim of their scam. Hopefully this will help others.

    2nd Time this week
I received a call from a woman who called herself Ms Williams. she claimed to be working on a case against me for a pay day loan company that had sent me to collections. She had information about me that was outdated, and I had not taken out any kind of loan for the time period he was talking about. when I told him that she said sometimes it shows up as a different date when really it could have been from as many as 3 month prior to that. I repeated that I had no idea what she was talking about. She got mad and began to get loud and demanding.  She told me the amount was $614, but that I could settle for 614.00 if I paid today. I refused to pay over the phone and without documentation. then she said I could make a counter offer for less, and that would take care of the debt. She mentioned the word fraud, and going to court and so on and so forth. She claimed they had sent me documentation to a previous address and that was considered "service". She then threatened me saying they could come to my work and serve me. She did send an email, from a company I have never heard of collecting for a company I have never heard of either. The company the email was sent from was RightSignature.com. The email itself lead me to a link with a letter demanding payment from a company called UFC Recovery Specialist claiming the original creditor was GTI Holdings, when I called and they are out of business because of thier collection practices.  When researching online the only information I could find about UFC Recovery Specialist were similar complaints about fraudulent calls threatening people, and demanding payment over the phone. This is without a doubt a scam!! Don't fall for it. They called from multiple phone numbers as well including: 844-326-7725, 855-288-3931, 800-216-9612; 877-283-1804; 360-342-6462; 866-426-8611.

Yes, I got the same call from the same company.  When I did pay and they sent me a letter that my account with Key Bank was settled, I got a letter saying as such.  However, then I got another letter from another collection agency for the same amount.  That is when I expected that I had paid the wrong person.  This David Wolf is a scam artist and his company is fraudulent.  Now they block my calls to 66-384-2974.  Somehow this guy gets even real accounts from other sources and uses them as his own.  Don't fall for it like I did.
