- Dave| 1 replySame as a few others it's something called Be the Match Bone Marrow. They want "Gregory" to call them back. Don't know if it's legit, but I won't give them the benefit since I never gave them my number. Maybe Gregory did.

- Cellphone user1| 2 repliesThey called just now (10:10 am PST) and left an automated message. It was from the Be The Match Bone Marrow and was asked "to complete an important 3-minute survey". I did sign up for that a few weeks ago, so it seems it might be legit. Not sure if I'll call them back though.

- Cheryl replies to DaveIt is legit. If you at some point in your life got swabbed to be a bone marrow donor that is what be the match is
- Kristen replies to Cellphone user1I don't know what the survey would be but if you by some chance are a match for someone out there and could save their lives don't you think it would be worth calling the company back. Why did you get swabbed in the first place? Sorry if I sound bitter but as a mom to a child with leukemia who needs a bone marrow transplant this is very close to my heart
- Mike| 2 repliesBe careful of the pishing. It asks birth date.
- JasonI just called it back from a phone that I did not register with at the bone marrow recruitment drive. It immediately told me that they could not verify my birth date with this number so I had to call back with my cell phone. The first thing it asks for is your birth date for verification and then on to a brief survey asking simple questions like why did you sign up to be a donor and how likely would you go through with it if you were a match on a scale of 1 to 5. Very quick and easy. If you signed up to be a donor, just take the short survey and maybe you will be able to save a life!

- JulieIt was a quick survey from the Be the Match if you registered to become Bone Marrow donor. They pretty much wanna screen how serious/willing you are to become a donor in the future. They also ask if you are registered as a organ donor or have donated blood before. It seems legit to me. If you got the call when you didn't sign up, maybe somebody put your number accidentally.

- PamelaThey said the company is called Be The match and it said for me to call back for a 3 minute survey!

- NickDon't be alarmed! It is NOT some scam or anything to be worried about. They called me twice and left voicemails and I THOUGHT the voicemail said something about "VISA merril lynch" so I thought it was some scam about my bank account. But it really said "be the match", the bone marrow donation thing I signed up for about a month ago. I wouldn't have known that if I didn't look up the number. So if you never signed up to be a donor, then they just have the wrong number on file but they aren't a phone call scamming service.

- ApplePie| 1 replyI too got a call from this place. I did not know what it was, so I hung up when it asked for my DOB. But from the info above, it seems to be for the same questions that I already answered before getting swabbed for a potential match. Why would they call and ask the same questions. If I am a match, I would hope a human being would call to inform me and not a computer.

- Olaf| 1 replyCall me today - no message. I called them back - robot voice asked for my DOB!?. What kind of BS it is? 100% Scam ! . Stay away from those a........s!

- DFields replies to ApplePieI think they are trying to weed out those who are not seriously willing to donate. This is an impersonal way for them to get your feedback so you are not influenced by having to hand the form over to a person who will see your answers. It is a huge commitment to donate and I imagine they have a large percentage who back out when they are called on to actually donate. ... especially to a stranger.
