- Becky| 1 replyPMSI Workers Compensation home delivery pharmacy. Had a missed call with a message so I called back. It was explained to me that they contract with Walgreens to do a home delivery for people that will be on medication long term with workmans compensation. Walgreens contacts your doctor 14 days before your prescription is to run out to get a refill, then they ship a 90 day supply to you per FedEx. I was told it is more cost effective for them. Almost laughed!

- Connie replies to BeckyI just read your post, that # called my cell & since i didn't recognize the # & i have limited min. I declined the call.
Back 2 your response-
i am retired, (not from a workman comp injury),
& do not & will not use Walgreens for my scripts.

- JJ| 1 replyJust received this recording and let it go to voicemail, then checked here. Thank you to everyone who posted. The recording makes it sound like I had to call back immediately because there was an issue with my Workers Comp benefits. Which I don't receive. Very odd. So glad you all saved me a call!

- iRita| 1 replyThis is legit. Formerly Helios, now Optum (not Optum Rx) this is a third-party administrator for pharmacy benefits. This is the difference between getting 30-day supply or 90-day mail-order. Their system is automated, so the calls start with a computerized questions (refill? - answer yes, they send to fulfillment). Ignoring the call will cost you money in the long run. If you call this number, give them the number they called--they will have your information.
- Caller: Optum (formerly Helios)

- Tell the Truth replies to iRitaNo it won't cost u money as your prescription benefits are paid for and fully covered under w/c. What it will cost u is a change in control of ur type & method of delvery of your prescriptions. Walgreens uses a cheaper manufacturer for my medications & they are simply put GARBAGE. Since they become a middle man between u & ur dr it becomes harder to get new prescriptions & adjustments to ur existing prescriptions.
- SherThis Company called. And from what the message says they take care of getting any medicine one gets from longtime service workers comp. Not interested in anything they have to say.! Has nothing to do with me!

- Attorney at lawDon’t call them back. You can get your prescriptions were ever you want. This is just a way for them to save money. They make you want to think you have to call. You don’t. You if you have an attorney, they tell you that you can get your medications or choice of doctor wherever. Of course they want you to go where it’s going to cost them the cheapest and they can have it mailed to you and it’s probably not the best medicine maker out there. But don’t call them back, it’s a scare tactic that’s why they don’t give you as much information on the message so that you think you have to call them back. It’s nonsense

- DaveDon't use mail order for work comp. I tried it. Meds arrived late. I tried Optum and it was really a horrible experience. Can't get 90 day supply of my meds anyways due to controlled substance laws. Don't give up your control. Even my adjuster gave them a "meh" for their service when the pharmacies started being hyper paranoid, and I thought mail order might work out better.

- C Y| 1 replyLeft a voice-mail claiming to be Optum. Knew my full name. I called and a guy answered and asked for my telephone number. I hung up bc it was suspicious. I called Optum directly and they said it wasn't them that called me

- C YLeft a message telling me WC benefits have changed. Made it sound urgent to call back. I called the real Optum and they said it wasn't them and to ignore that call. Thank you to everyone for their posts here.
