- Amy replies to NoHoneymoonForUsSeriously, thank you so much for the info!! I got duped into this deal as well... what a rip. I definitely had to kick and scream and throw the law at them in order to get it canceled but they finally agreed to cancel it and refund my money... I have to wait 7-10 business days for the money to be refunded but I feel much better now. I guess as usual, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I should have known better in the first place...
- hiitsgBook4Florida.com
I received a cancelation number and was told that a refund would be given in 7 to 10 days.
This took me two separate phone calls, the first of which took 20, the second took 11 minutes.
Talked to Tiffany, who was a "specialist" (I had other names for her at that time)
When I called there was lots of holding (beware that when there is no music they CAN hear you). You are just on mute and they are probably laughing at you while you freak out. BE CALM AND PERSISTENT.
I did not have to use any legal threatening, instead I was calm and said that the offer was financially unsound for me at the current time and that I would like to cancel with a supervisor.

- DanHi,
I have had the same thing happen to me. I researched it on the internet and discovered how it's such a scam with extra charges etc. I canceled my VISA within 12 hours of "winning" this crusie. Am i safe? - ErinI also got this call, and against everything in my gut, I gave in. My friend had won while we were at the Beer Festival, so I assumed it was legit. After talking to them, I called her, and she told me she hadn't even registered yet because she wanted to check out everything first (smart). She then told me that they called a few more of our friends, and that's when I started to get worried. I searched the numbers they gave me for customer care, and found this page, and thankfully I did! I appreciate people posting their experiences so I knew how to appropriately handle the situation. I called this morning and was transferred to a "specialist" named Phil. He was very concerned that something was wrong and continued to offer me special deals, and so on. I kept telling him that I am a teacher and school was starting soon so I just wanted to get the cancellation done. He talked to his manager and then came back with yet another offer. I told him that I was hearing him, but I felt like he was not hearing me. I once again stated that I wanted to cancel it. After 25 minutes on the phone with Phil, I was transferred to Chantel, who double checked that Phil told me about the "extra" special offers and the quickly and easily cancelled my reservations. I got the cancellation code and will be checking my bank account each day until I see the money back in there!
I agree, just let them finish what they want to tell you, tell them you appreciate what they are trying to do for you, but you would still like to cancel it. I did not have to bring up any legal issues, but I will be contacting the people who put on the festival to ask them if they could do away with that booth next year. Thanks again for all the help! - CRI have a new number these people called me from. It is 646-732-0971. from a so called lady named Denise. This is a New York City, New York number. When she gave me a customer service # it was the 800-231-1298 number. I was lucky and caught on to this fairly quickly, and called my credit card provider immediately and had the charges cancelled. I attended a rock concert in Oklahoma and entered this drawing. I assume everyone that entered this drawing got a call informing them of their good fortune. I know better than to give out my cc info, but they got me to. These people are fast talking and have perfected this scam. I found this site while looking online for the www.book4florida.com site to check it out. You guys saved me some money. Thankyou. I have one more number affiliated with this scam and it is 888-582-8228

I was offered this package last year and was tricked into paying just under $600 for two people, Im aware of the 30 day cancelation fee and the florida law. Anyone tell me if it is 30 days from the initial 600$ CC payment? or 30 days from booking the vacation dates/ receiving your itinerary.- Caller: book4florida

I know it is my fault and I should have known, but all I want is my money back!! I tried going through wells fargo, but they said because I authorized the charge I couldn't get my money back. Like many of you I was transferred over and over and hung up on several times. These people are awful. I am sending them a written notice to refund my money and also contacting attorney generals in my state and in FL. If anyone has anymore info please let me know. I would like to also see how we can take this company out of business!!!! No more scams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- PISSEDOFFWednesday June 3rd 2015 at 11:33 a.m. I received a call from an unknown number 913.201.0217 . I hesitated because I usually don't pick up if I don't recognize the number but , I did anyways . Biggest mistake ever ! The robot lady said that if I answer 3 quick questions , I could win a trip to the Bahamas . So I thought I'd try to see what happens . After answering the 3 questions , I was told that a travel agent will be calling me shortly and hung up on me . In about 10 minutes or so , I got a call from Florida 954.237.8081 and I believed he said his name was either Justin or John ? He told me that I was one of the lucky people to win a trip to the Bahamas for participating in their stupid surveys . It was going to be a 9 days 8 nights vacation package . 3 days 2 nights in Fort Lauderdale FL , 3 days 2 nights to the Bahamas and 3 days and 2 nights in Orlando FL . He then starting telling me about how awesome it would be and that his daughter and her friends went last year or whatever . And that this is the best deal and I won't be able to get this deal anywhere else . So , when he ask for my credit card # , I gave it to him ( so stupid) . He tried to run my card but it wouldn't take it so I was charged $1,494.99 onto my debit card instead . Everything was said and done and we hung up . Two days later , I went online to do some research and found out that it was a scam ! During my phone call , I was told I was going to be recorded for quality purposes but that's a load of BS ! They record you on audio so they can save their bleep* later and use that against you . Never in a million years I thought I would be sucked into something like this . I was so pissed off and so on Monday June 8th I called the customer care # 1.800.530.6514 and of course another robot lady stating "Thank you for holding , your call is very important to us . Someone will be with you shortly". She repeated this over and over again and of course no one picked up . I was on hold for about 4 mins before hanging up . I went on http://www.bahamasparadisecruise.com and found a Service After Purchase # 1.800.374.4363 . I called and a lady by the name of Shavonna ? ask for my reservation # and I gave it to her . She then say she don't see my booking or whatever and I told her I haven't done it because I want to CANCEL MY PACKAGE . She asked why I wanted to cancel and I said I changed my mind and I don't want to go on this trip anymore and would like to be refunded . She put me on hold for 3.5 minutes and here comes Greg . He asked how he can help me today and I said I WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL MY PACKAGE . He asked me why and I said , I changed my mind and I don't want to go anymore and would like to be refunded . He told me he wasn't allow to do that and he'll have someone else call me back in 10 minutes or so . I said ok and we hung up . 10 mintutes later , the # that I have been trying to call (1.800.530.6514) and got nowhere was the same # I got a call from . Wow , you couldn't pick up my calls but you can call me from the same # ? Really ??? Anyways , he said his name was Shawn ? Sean ? said that he was the manager and ask how can he help me . I said I want to cancel my package . He asked why and I said the same thing I said to Shavonna and Greg . I WANT TO CANCEL THIS PACKAGE AND WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND . He asks me why I wanted to cancel it . I said it wasn't for me and that I simply changed my mind and would like a refund . He told me he cannot refund me because at the beginning on the phone call , the travel agent should have told me that package is non refundable . Yes he might of have but I don't remember . He then said that there was no way he can refund me because Kansas is a non refundable state . He said the only thing he can do is extend my vacation to another 18 months and if by that time I still don't want to go then I can give it to a family member or a friend . Why the hell would I want to give it to my family or friends ? It's a scam ! I just said ok and hung up . On Tuesday June 9th I sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Florida about The Grand Bahama Cruise Line , LLC . I know it's my fault for getting myself into this but now I just want my money back . All of it .
