This caller did leave a message that stated they were Aspire Servicing Center. A quick check on the I-Net leads me to believe the are a collection agency specializing student loans. "Aspire Servicing Center provides customer service and resources for borrowers with federal student loans previously serviced by Iowa Student Loan and for borrowers with private student loans offered by Iowa Student Loan and a number of other lending institutions."

I have no association with this company and have never applied for or accepted any form of Student Loan.
They may not be a scam but they have no reason to call me, therefore their calls are not wanted.

You can all say they are legit all you like, but I have never even attented college and have no one that would use me as a reference in that way. I don't even have any credit.

Liar. Just answer the phone and take care of your debts.

the phone allows us to block the calls.  These things pay for a bank of numbers.  Continue to block the numbers and make them pay for a new bank of numbers.   people are not dodging the calls they are dodging the practices. If your income changed and you tell them I will contact as soon as I am able they continue to call you..

Keep receiving calls from these loosers  also received  junk  in the mail from these scammers    that   was   cut up    in garbage / I am 86 years have unlisted  phone number, have no student loans   ever in my life  am  not connected to loans.
Believe me if I had ever known of the person relation or not  I would never give these no good scammers even   the time of day.
People on here can vouch for them all they want    I hope they wake up when   they start getting  mail and phone calls day after day like many have and  continue receiving their scam calls night and day.
I started when I see foreign phone numbers  on  phone  to   never answer  and check the number out before returning calls.

What these  screwball Scammers do  is  throw   all same  surnames they gather   in one   file  folder  as if you are all a  connected family/   just look  up your name and there will be  people with same surname included as if they are part of your related family and yet    you have no connection to half the  names.  .....................

Called to remind me that my deferment was going to be ending and to set up payment plan. The person I talked to was helpful, respectful and nice. If you have loans and have been avoiding their calls - return one! They will work with you! If you're getting calls and don't have loans through them verify who they're calling for and go through whatever the procedures are for being removed from their list - they are a legitimate company and not a bunch of loan sharks!

This number calls my cell phone on a daily basis and leaves messages. I have blocked them but they still get to voice mail. I tried to call and have my number removed but they didn't answer. I was on hold forever and thought maybe that was part of the scam so I hung up. Very irritating. :(
