calls but never leaves voice mail that can be transcribed

Scammers....beware..... calling on behalf of my spouse, saying he has serious legal issues and about to be arrested.

This is definitely a scam. They have blocked and negative status on robokiller.com. They also instantly hang up when you call them. It also has 2 complaints to the FCC on caller center.com. Not to mention, when you look up the number on google you end up seeing articles on scam numbers. Can’t be a coincidence. I also wish you and your spouse well Lisa, I’m sure it’s just an empty threat, a lot of scammers do that. You always have more power over them than them over you. Apparently if you look up the number on google it’s from midland credit management, who are scammers among the like of other debt collector scammers like portfolio recovery.

The number came through with 'Account Services' as the company. I didn't answer and they did not leave a voicemail. I did a google search on the phone number and found this: https://www.midlandcredit.com/phone-number/800-257-1620/. This site says "If you've received a call from 800-257-1620, it's a member of the Midland Credit Management team calling from one of our offices. The most common reason we get in touch is because an unresolved debt of yours is being serviced by MCM. We're committed to working with you to find a solution that fulfills your financial obligation and helps you get back on track." This is all very sketchy to me.

I've been averaging at least 2 calls a day for the last month or so from Midland Credit Management.   I do not have any debt/credit issues. They are scammers. If you block them, they'll call you from from a different number tomorrow. Very annoying.

Received call @ 12:45 PM (EST). Caller I.D. showed: "TOLL FREE CALL". I did not answer and no message was left on my voice mail.

Midland Scum- I press one button, blocked, I can do this for eternity.

Encore Capital Group (Midland Credit Management), 350 Camino de la Reina, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92108. They buy debt for pennies on the dollar, which allows them to cut deals with consumers while still making profit. Like all debt collectors, of course, they would prefer to take your house, car, life savings, etc., so come at them from a strong bargaining position in consultation with your lawyer

Called at 8 am on a Sunday on a holiday weekend.  Are you kidding me?!
