800 257 3421 was on my caler ID when I came home from work. I called the number and a recording says the number cannot be called from my area. Probably another scam.

Automated call saying my mastercard or visa is up for review soon and to lock in a low interest rate as part of a new stimulus deal press 1 immediately. This is your only notice. I just hang up, they call again with the same thing. Tried calling the number back and I'm told the number can't be dialed.

I have recieved multiple calls from this phone number in the past 36 hours.  

Legal action against the harassing phone class of the holders of this number is being initiated.

This is a credit card scam. They claim to be from the financial department of visa/mastercard with an offer to lower your interest rate. Unfortunately I found out too late that CREDIT CARD COMPANIES WILL NEVER OFFER TO LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATES. The caller is VERY clever at getting you to "verify" your personal info; again, your credit card company would never ask you for this info...they already have it. Once you are "qualified" you are instructed to wait for another call to confirm your lowered rate. This is where the real scam takes place; the person will rattle off a bunch of figures only to confuse you & then make a 3-way call to your credit card company. They will get your rate lowered, but at the tune of $800. I would highly recommend not answering this call...no matter how many times they call.

Called to reduce credit card interest. Funny thing is I do not use credit cards. I established my credit without the need for them. Iam also on the do not call list state and national. NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONEL INFORMATION ON THE PHONE. A BANK OF CREDIT CARD COMPANY WILL ALREADY HAVE ALL YOUR INFORMATION SO NEED FOR THEM TO CALL AND ASK YOU FOR THEM. HANG UP!!!

Received a call from the above number and nobody answered. My caller idea showed up[not provided], then the above number. When I called the number, an automated message said, number disconnected, or out of order. Yea right...
