- DaveWe get this call a couple times a day too, from 1-800-259-7187. My wife says she saw a work from home thing on Good Morning America that she signed up for, and this is the end result. She said the form asked if she was interested in getting/finishing her college degree, and she said yes. So now the floodgates have been opened, and they are calling nonstop.
- Caller: Unavailable
- DaveThanks for the info Chris, I called and left a message on Nili's voicemail last night. We'll see if she calls me back
- Shannon| 1 replyI got multiple calls from this number yesterday too - and left a VM for Nili. I called her several times and I finally got this number - through another lady by the name of Jodie or something. She was helpful, apologetic and explained that their call center had some technical issues yesterday. Then she said that the best way to take out my number off the list was through: 1-800-201-4573 - I was skeptic but what the heck? I called the number - anything to get my number off their list.
I was able to get in touch with someone at 1-800-201-4573 and it seems like they were able to take me off the list. So far I haven't received any calls today, so hopefully that shut them up.
Just thought I'd share... 1-800-201-4573- Call type: Telemarketer
- DaveThanks again Chris. I spoke to several people at Vinyl Interactive, and they have assured me that we are done with receiving calls from them. 36 hours later, no calls.
People, if you are getting these calls, DEFINITELY follow Chris advice. It worked for me! - DaveOh, and the person who finally finished the job was "Joey"... Left multiple VM's for Nili, and heard from I think a Vanessa, and another. But it was Joey who confirmed all the steps had been taken to remove my number.
- Lori replies to ShannonThe number was actually 1-866-201-4573. NOT a 1-800 number.
FYI....... - BI kept getting calls from the 800-259-7317. Quite afew blogs I read
said that number was from getyourdegree.net
So I went on their site scrolled to the bottom under contact and FLOODED their email with repeated emails. I bet I sent them at least 30 with DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER I WILL REPORT YOU and gave my number they were calling. Now they can get a taste of what they are doing to everyone . See how they like it. Anyway the calls stopped, Plus I really did report them. - rufAug,22 2008
Vinyl Interactive continues to harass people. They have since changed their number and have added several others numbers to call out on. Same [***].
Once they obtain your phone number they then turn around and sell it to other companies, this is their core business.
Filing a complaint with the FCC is your best option.

- informed replies to ChrisIf you are on the national DNC list they can still call you because you somehow requested the info online. It could have been an accident but it still happened as a request
- MaryCalled 10 times in the morning. I ignored some and then when i would try to answer there was nothing and once they asked for someone who wasn't me. I'm not sure what kind of industry could in any way be supported in this way.
i called them back and listened to their elevator music for awhile. A hispanic woman answered and already was prepared to tell me i would be on their do not call list and asked for other numbers to list. I didn't give her any, and then she said it would take 48 hours for me to be added to the list and quit getting calls.- Caller: Did not identify themself.
