This call was from UGI Utilities who left a message about an overdue bill THAT WAS PAID OFF MONTHS AGO and who was told OVER AND OVER AGAIN that it was already paid AND was already provided PROOF!!!  This is outright harrassment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 calls back to back ON MY CELL PHONE, which is unlisted.  No message left on voice mail. I have no UGI account. My cell phone number isn't even billed under my name, on caller ID it comes up as my Dad's name, who, incidently, does not have a UGI account either.  When I called the number, the message said "you have reached UGI's credit department."  I can only guess that someone accidentally or purposely gave a wrong number to UGI at some point.  I hate paying for wrong numbers on my cell phone!

I recieved six calls virtually back-to-back on my cell phone. The number was the one listed in this thread. I thought this was a bit fishy, so I did a web search to find out if it is a scam. it's not a scam. Evidently UGI seems to think that if they call you in an annoying way, you will want to pay the bill faster. This is all fine and good if you are just absent minded and just forgot to pay the bill. I payed the bill that day.

What if someone that doesn't have the money recieve these harrassing calls? The stress UGI is creating in people that could be already stressed is irresponsable as a public company.

This brings to mind loan sharks and the busted kneecap way of getting the money owed.

I been getting phone call from this number too! They pissed me off so much. My dad had a UGI account but that's got nothing to do with me. I hate PEOPLE THAT KEEP CALLING ME FOR NO REASON.
