This is a call from Texas Guarantee (TG). They handle student loans.

They call, don't leave a message and id shows toll free; called back to get removed and it hangs up since all reps are busy.  what the heck is wrong with the do not call list. no students, no student loans. really strange.

TG - Texas Guarantee. They handle student loans and repayment plans to get out of default. Called me to notify me that I have completed my "repair" and the loan is out of default and that it's going back to my original lender.

called again even after requesting number to be removed; called back got a twit that had not clue so called again, went thru speel and hope fully my number will be removed.

I received a called from this number asking me if I know other person that the call was for a reference.
I should it check with the person they mentioned to verify but I did not.
Also right away after they answer they female ask me for my social security number which I told her no.
Be careful with them.
