RCN calling!!  Overdue bill alert.

I called the number back and the message states :"RCN Financial Services".   I doubt this is the real RCN cable/telephone company.   Beware about providing any information to this caller.    If you feel you need to contact RCN cable/telephone company call the customer service number located on your bill.  Also, official company communications will always be delivered via USPS mail.

This is RCN cable company. They call me once a month because I'm a month behind, i pay them a little extra every bill..  It really is just bothersome more than anything.

This is the RCN credit department calling you if you pay off-billing cycle or ignored a shut-off notice

Called RCN billing department and was advised this number is a Phishing scheme and RCN has not called me regarding any billing issues.

The number I call for RCN is 800-RINGRCN for all RCN services.

I actually did a live chat with RCN a few minutes ago and this is a legit collection number.  I had a past due balance
