    Midland Credit exists.  Better question might be: "Are the Honest?"  They get a lot of complaints here for harassment and general sleeze and are generally regarded as a bottom feeder.  If you have a legit debt that is in their hands, that is one problem.  If they are calling and claiming a debt you do not owe, that is a whole other problem.
