Scam call from Amazon to confirm order of an iPhone on my Amazon account... which I don't have to begin with.

Same, claimed an order for $799 had been made on my Amazon account.  I don't have an account with Amazon.

Claimed an order had been placed from my Amazon account for $799 for an iPhone

"An order has been placed on your Amazon account for $799 for  iPhone 10S. Please press 1 to confirm, 2 to cancel".

Same thing...a suspicious order from Amazon for $799 and wanted me to press one to confirm or 2 to cancel. Just hang up without pressing anything. Amazon does not contact you this way.

Same,  claiming Amazon suspicious activity.

Just got a call from this number saying the same as the other comments.  They claimed I have a suspicious activity on my Amazon account with a 700.00 purchase.  I did not press any numbers.

Wife got a call from “Apple” about an order...Press 1 to confirm, Press 2 to cancel. We deleted the call.
Scam I sudpect

Same thing, they claimed there was an iPhone charge to our Amazon account over$700. We went on line and checked our account. It's a scam.

Amazon $799.00 account charge ssuspect

Just called my cell. Didn't know # so I didn't answer & of course they left no message, Now blocked.

The same thing just happened to me but before I thought it through, I hit 2 to deny the charge.  I wished I'd never answered. Is my account now compromised in any way?

My husband hit 2 & hung up; what happens now?

Wanted to verify that I purchased a Apple I-Phone 10 for $790.00

Same experience as others. Just received a call verifying a $799 charge on Amazon. We hung up.
