Good day,
My credit card was charged from YAHOO*MYFIRSTUNITED-800-318-0870 US $25.81 on 03/14/2008 and from YAHOO*MYBANFIRSTUNIT 800-318-0870 US $25.81 on 03/16/2008, I haven't done any transactions on these dates, I would like to know what this is all about. My corporate credit card was charged $9.95 from: YAHOO*PLANCKPROFIT.C 800-318-0807 CA.  I never got a call either nor have used my corporate card to order anything from Yahoo Small Business services.  I called the number and asked what the charges were for, but they could give me no additional information other than the description above.  It looks like there is a pattern forming here.

Like all of you, I just received a $9.95 charge from Yahoo-Currency Inves - 800-318-0870, that I know nothing about and have not authorized.  Is anyone having any luck tracking down these charges and how to get them reversed??

I had three charges, all for $38.82 charged to my credit card:
YAHOO *AIRLINEGRO
YAHOO *AIRLINEVAX
YAHOO *ARILINEXAR
Like other here, I didn't authorize them, and don't have a yahoo account of any kind.

I've contacted my credit card company for assistance. Can't call Yahoo until Monday, but don't expect much from them.

I got a charge from Yahoo Invest-24H.com for 21.95 and I did not authorize them as well.  The scary part is that I haven't used my card for about 1 year and was surprised to get a statement.  It also states the same phone number 800-318-0870 on my credit card statment.

daughter just got hit also... for 29.86.  Bank is checking into this.  Appears to be a scam.

You should check with your credit card company as this could be the first step  in using your CC # and your ID that has been stolen..  
Other companies then followed but look all to be real.

This NUMBER came up on our CC bill..

We think my wife had her cc stolen as she gave birth.  

We just discovered this was happening when the CC Co called about strange activity.  At that moment the card was stopped.  When we received the statement this number and Yahoo SHIPWORLDFEX C was the first charge for 29.86.  This company is from Ghana, they have a Yahoo accnt and states it is a shipping  (big boat) company.  For the amount they pay for shipps they may be served withh  a better web designer.  Looks like a complete Fraud with bad copy stock photos of ships.  For a real laugh check out the Service section and the About Us section.    http://shipworldfex.com/

The site/server is in Canada and the name is registered out of the Cayman Islands.  See below.  The FEDs should be on this one.

We got hit too for $29.86.  Number given was 800-318-0870 Description was CA YAHOO *ASTRA .  I called and was on hold for 45 min..  Then told I had to talk to fraud dept.  On hold now with an estimated wait time the same.

Hi Yahoo,

 Almost two months signed a hosting plan, with Yahoo for my field khronus.com.br. But not since then change the name servers in the body of my record of the field with the information passed by Yahoo, accusing it of the error "search refused" as Yahoo's servers that are being raised were not configured for my domain.
 Given that I ask you to send me the name servers and ip's to whom I must point out my domain.
 Below the settings that I am currently using, as passed by Yahoo, and is returning error.

i have had the same thing happen with amex - $40 charge listed on statement as to "yahoo *henxui.net"  

called and notified amex, they removed charge and are now investigating and sending me a new card/#.  no more yahoo mail for me!

make sure to check previous statements if you haven't - i missed checking last month's statement and it was also on that statement for same amount.

check your statements!

yahoo are criminal felons.  I got tagged by them for 3 49.95 charges.

Same thing for me on my business card.

Fradulent charge for $29.86 to "Yahoo Fargo Falcons" with the phone number of 800-318-0870 CA.

Smae here got hit last month for $35 dollars it said for hosting I do have my own hosting company no need for Yahoo hosting MX took care of the charges but then again yesterday got hit with the same charge call MX canceled the card and fuilled a dispute hope Yahoo will do a stop to this waisted 45 min holding no answer yet

Yup - me too.  We got hit on a card we haven't used in over a year as well.  The statement said Yahoo storaduke.com with the same phone number as the previous posts.  We also got hit three days later for two US Airways tickets - all this on a card we don't even use!!!!  I referred it all to my CC company.  I won't bother with Yahoo since it sounds like it's a waste of time.

On my credit card statement there were 5 $9.95 charges on July 2; 2 by YAHOO *GOLDENPROFITS. 800-318-0870 CA and 3 by YAHOO *GOLDENMONEYCLU 800-318-0870 CA for a tidy sum of $49.75

Called credit card compamy, got the charges disputed, and changed CC number, very efficiently done.
