I tried calling H &R block but somehow ended up getting connected to this number. I could tell by the noise in the background it was not who I needed to talk to. This guy with a weird accent gets on the phone ,kept talking really fast. He told me he would help me with my issue after I admitted to claiming a 100.00 gift card for Walmart.  It would cost me 2.95. I kept telling him I wasn't interested.  He told me he had all my bank information and he would take out the 2.95 and I would be sent the gift card.  I ended up hanging up on this guy. Later on I checked my account he did take out the 2.95 plus another 3.00. I closed that account.  I Google the number he called me from it was a Malaysia number. Everyday since then I've gotten a card in the mail from them with a claim number telling me to call and claim this gift card. But I noticed on a couple of the flyers they sent me the card was for 2 different places.

The same thing happened to me but the telephone number on the card is different.  It is 1-800-377-4541. I got a yellow postcard and my husband got a white one with 1-800-285-0237. They require that you pay $1.90 via debit card, credit card or draft from your bank account. Don't think so.

I rec'd blue card. I thought it was legit because I have had 30 day trials before with no problem. I gave them check # and of course my acct number is on it. Called Minnesota and they said Family Savings have an A+ rating. In my state they couldn't find TFS ID, bank told me it was a scam. She put a hold on it until I get to bank. I don't know what will happen because I did give them okay for $2.88 and $1.88 and of course at the end of 30 days they take the $23 and $26, for which I wanted to cancel before time. The number you have on top is not the number I have which is 1-800-664-2830. I thought this was legit and hate to have dummy stamped on my head if it isn't, but they have been operating BBB said for a few years. The reports I found on internet were not good ones. My postcard said UNCLAIMED REWARD and $100 in savings. Perhaps Family Savings is legit because I pulled that up, but tricksters sometimes take the name of a legit company and claim to be doing business with them. I'm stumped, is it or isn't it legit?
