- Richard RileySeveral call a day am/pm from this caller
- ChrisScam! They pose as US Bank who say you’ve been hacked and ask for you to send money via Zelle to reverse the charges.
- Caller: Phishing posing as US Bank
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- R| 3 repliesSpoke with US Bank fraud liaison services and they confirmed it's not their number and that it's a scam attempt. Call starts with a pre-recorded phone tree message that reads the last 4 digits of your credit card when you call from your phone number, so they got that info on you somehow. But they can't do anything with it unless you give them more information over the phone. Just block the number.

- mad as hell replies to R| 2 repliesHi, they called my Mom today and she gave the last 4 of her social security #. They said it was a deliquent account from Sears. What should we do? She closed her Sears account years ago.....
- mad as hell replies to mad as hell| 1 replyI meant to say that she received a letter and that phone number was on there for her to call (she didn't call them) and that's when they told her she owed money on her Sears account and asked for her social, she gave the last 4 numbers
- BigA replies to mad as hellIf the letter is from a 3rd party debt collector then it should tell you exactly what to do. You seem to be leaving a lot of important information out of your posts, such as who sent the letter, their address, etc.
- KSHas called every week day since 9/13. When I do answer, it is dead on the other line and I hang up by 8 seconds. Has to be spam.

- Winnie800-320-0525 called my phone - asking for my information - sorry NOT US BANK.
This is a phishing scam. They skip off of the US Bank lines posing as representatives.
I called US Bank and they state that they do not call clients. IF you suspect fraud or any other type of issue YOU call them and call the number on your card. DO NOT answer a call that may or may not be the actual company. They do not need your social and other information as they already have that. BE SMART PEOPLE!- Caller: "NOT" US Bank as declaired

- MeThis number called me and said that I have a big balance in my credit card at USBANK I told them that I have a usbank about 5 minutes where I’m at and I’m going there right now. They told me don’t go because this issue can be fixed only by phone, I said I’m going now, he said don’t go, I said yes I’m going now. Then I hang up, and they didn’t called me again. Doesn’t matter where you’re banking. Tell them you are going to your bank right now to fix the issue in person. You will Not do it by phone. They will stop. Please don’t give your information to no one by phone. Your bank already have it.
- Caller: Usbank
- Jooskoday| 2 repliesThey've been calling my mom for a week now, asking for my grandparents but when she ask what it's for and from which company they just stay silent so she drops the call. They've called at least 3 times a day but she has only picked it up 2 times and let it ring the rest of the time (I've blocked it already for her so hopefully no more calls). They did manage to find my grandad's phone number (without my mom providing it) but they were looking for my grandma and they wouldn't say what the call is for so he also dropped the call (we gave them a heads up of the calls so they knew what number to look for). This is just ridiculous.
- Caller: Scammer, no mention of company.

- Sean replies to Jooskoday| 1 replyThey call me 3 x a day. O hung up a couple times then a voice-mail and some guy acts threatening and says they will garnish my wages on a voice-mail he sent since I won't discuss the debt. Now, I do have a US bank credit card. In great standing, a 760 credit score, no late payments no delinquent accounts. It's a scam. I blocked it but I'm going to call and ask for a debt validation letter. It won't come because there isn't any outstanding debt. I can see how some get fooled. They talk and act legit like they are trying to help. Then threaten me when I told the to go pound sand.
- BigA replies to SeanIf you are going to ask for a debt validation letter then you must do it in writing per Federal Law. What is their address?
- Ron CI’ve been called at least 3 times today. I’ve answered it twice with no one responding. Thanks to this group I know it’s scammers and to ignore and block the number.
