This is the legitimate number for Syncrony Financial.  Someone is spoofing that number to scam you.

"Card Services" using this number (spoofed from GE Money Bank/Synchrony Financial) - put me on hold and hung up when I asked for my name to be removed

4/25/19  SCAM CALL came in on Land Line - Toll Free Call - Party chose to not leave a message.

Card service crooks are spoofing a real # that belongs to GE. I called the # and told them and a lady said they have recieved dozens of calls informing them that their # is being spoofed. Their IT security team is aware but nothing they can do really, the phone companies could stop them but wont.

Sorry Bill, but phone company can NOT do anything.

# that called me was 800 333 1071....I answered it and it hung up...called it back and it answered Synchrony Bank....I managed to get thru to a bank rep....they asked me for my ph # and told me they have no record of my #! in their system...said they would look into it.....I said thx and hung up

I just received a phone call from that number and I knew better than to give them my SS# or anything else!  Somebody needs to report them!

They wanted my SS# or my account number!  Needless to say I did not give either!

800-333-1071 is being spoofed by criminal telemarketers operating the "Credit Card Services" scam.

Number keeps calling me. I answered it once and said " Department of Homeland Security.... Terrorist Division"... they hung up... I blocked the number, but they still keep calling. It does not get thru, but I see it on my caller ID.

rec'da call did not call back I am so tired of these darned credit card calls. Been getting them since 2010 and never stopped.  If anything they have increased with sometimes 3-5 calls in one 24 hour period.  since I have no business with GE... I know it was a SPOOF call.

I keep getting calls from credit card services. It’s always a recording about free interest on my credit card . It’s always a card that I do not even have. Never give them any information. Report all such calls to the Federal Trade Commission. There is also a web site under the .Gov. for the F.B.I. Where you may report all such scams.

came in as scam alert and said hello this is Olivia and I hung up and blocked call!

I called back and this site identified itself as Syncrony Financial and I could get no further since I did not have an account number and I wasn't about to give them my social security number.

Wanted SSN, I told them I was an immigrant and didnt have one.

Called me.  I never answered.  Blocked.
