Rec'd a junk phone call from Personal Concepts. Oh this sounds important. Caller ID was "Unavailable" at 9:28 am, C.S.T. (39 secs.)

This black broad said she was looking for someone. Yeah, aren't we all. I said I was having problems understanding you with all of the marbles in your mouth. Apparently another one of these dummies with an over-modulated Platronics head-phone piece.

Got enough info to trace her back to

    http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/159/ripoff0159493.htm

    http://www.personnelconcepts.com/customerService.asp#11

Seems like their telemarketing arm. I told this broad to never ever call us again. Anyone that calls us and masks their identity can't be trusted, and right now lady, you're a liar -- so don't call us again, and goodbye!

The phone number was on a letter harassing me to pay for the 'California and Federal Labor Low Poster'. It said that the 'failure to do so may lead to government fines of up to $17,000'. I am not the employer, so this is a scam. I hope someone will sue this company soon.

I picked up she did give me her name JOANNE HAWKINS. I told her I do not answer questions on the phone by someone I do not know. So she continues to ask how many employees we have. SO I told her again I will not answer that. I told her leave a name and number and the owner can call her. OK so she has a name but she says she has no number. How the heck did she manage to call me in the forst place. The number this call came from is 800-333-3795 Personel concepts. And just an FYI for you all the website does not even work they try and get you to go to.

I just got a call from a Tashaun,

She made this sound important and told me she would like to send them today she want an invoice.  She was rushing me to buy.  Obviously this is a scam but what about the information she was giving.  does anyone know if it is valid?  The idenity theft prevention and HIPA poster.  Do I need these?  Does anyone know where I can get these things myself and stay in compliance?

Angela from Personnel Concepts called and would not leave a message, or tell me what company she was calling from. I called back and asked for customer service and they told me they could remove us from their promotional call list.

This company is in the business of pressuring companies to purchase their labor-law posters every year. Their MO is to make you think you have to buy it from them, but really you can get it anywhere, and don't have to pay their exorbitant prices.

Whenever a caller refuses to leave a message, that's the first sign of a scam, and especially a commission-based one.

They send us official-looking "bills" each month telling us that our poster is about to expire and we have to get it renewed to avoid thousands of dollars in fees.  And today I got a call from them.  The woman I spoke to told me her name was Margarita.  I asked for her callback number, which was this one.  Sounds like they're still getting away with their scam and probably making a killing in illegal profits.

Personnel Concepts. They sell Labor Law Posters. Any poster they are trying to sell you can be rec'd for free from the state or federal gov't. Any poster the gov't requires you post can be ordered from them. PC charges pretty high fees and employ's some strong arm tactics in trying to get you to buy, but from what I've experienced, nothing illegal.

I, too, received a call from these people...they wanted me to purchase and EEOC discrimination poster for $59.00- when I told them I have purchased an annual pkg to send me anything I need they just continued to explain that it was a new law and wasn't included in my "pkg" because it wasn't "alloted" for-

I told them I wasn't buying anything and was going to research this further- well look where I got when I searched the number he gave me ;)

I haven't got time nor patience for scammers-

    FED UP!
Our small business receives MULTIPLE calls from Personal Concepts on a daily basis.  Not only is it annoying, but it is a cutting into employee work time.  I have told them repeatedly to take us off their list and I get nowhere.  Contacting a lawyer.  This is ridiculous!!!

This place is a complete fraud, the posters they are selling are provided FREE by the state but they want $60 for them and they are not legal copies meaning you will still get fined for having them. The owner of the business before me paid $114 for these posters, and on inspection walk today I got a warning for having the non-state posters up. The state is aware they

I have asked that these people never call me and my business again, but they call daily.  They are relentless on selling me posters and tell me that the government is requiring me to purchase these posters.  I know my business and I know that they are lying scammers.  They need to stop pretending that they work for the government and the government needs to do something about this because last time I checked, it's against the law to impersonate the government.  PLEASE STOP CALLING US!!!!

12/18/2014 @ 11:10 AM local time received a call from "UNKNOWN". Spoke with a MARY PALMER, a "Labor Law Compliance Specialist" in "Personal Concepts" (I asked for the name of her Department and she had said "I am a Labor Law Compliance Specialist" at first. When I asked again what her department was, she said "Personal Concepts". Not a very official for government. I would know since I work with the court system).

She said there was REQUIRED notices that needed to be posted that would be sent by UPS with an invoice for the notices (about $350 PLUS shipping and handling). When I told her we already had them, she said "could you describe the notices to me" and then CLAIMED that the notices were "separate, mandatory notices that are required by law or the company will face federal charges and fines".

It seemed suspicious and wanted to confirm whether it was legitimate or not. I had spent 15 - 20 minutes trying to get her name, business/department name, and phone number. As soon as she told me the number, searched it and came here and confirmed with other sites that IT IS A SCAM.
