they have called me, do you know who are they? I have a debt with a payday loan co. and I'm behind, they threat me to take me to court, I really don't know if they are for real or not, I got scammed in the past.
Please answer me.

Record any threats from the collections, they are only allowed to call twice a day and they cannot force you into something you don't agree on.

As soon as I told them to mail or FAX or email me PROOF that I owe them I stopped getting their calls.  Some guy Named Mr. Jenkins called me.  He sounded African American.  Just tell them to PROVE IT TO YOU that you owe someone and then he said it was a payday loan over a year ago.  GET REAL!

I got a call from my mother telling me that I was gonna be prosecuted for taking out a payday loan and said that they are an attorney office....It said to call 800.333.7368 x 1021 and ref# 7273092

Call the Attorney General if you receive a threat like this it is not real ---if you are gonna be prosecuted....baby trust you will not get a call ---they will just pick your ass up-------I told them to go [***] themselves with no lube!!!!!!

I received the same call. She identified herself as a rep from SV1 Burke and Associates. 1-800-333-7368 ext 1011. Ms. Cole

Just received a call from 866-215-9330 a recorded message says from Epstein & Weinberg and Associates, said important call and gave a different number (800-333-7368) to call back.  No other information given.

I just received a phone call from 404-935-4130 and they left a message to call 1-800-333-7368. A short time later I received another call from my work stating to call a Ms. Dukes at the 1-800-333-7368. My work told me she was very rude to them and told them I don’t have his cell phone number so give it to me after my work told her no she hung up.
I called Ms. Dukes who informed me she was with “Epstein and Weinberg and associates” first words were “I’m not a collection agency we are a mediation and litigation law firm. Ms. Dukes was very rude and disrespectful and told me “look you know you borrowed the money and now you have to pay”. I explained to Ms. Dukes I have borrowed in the past but did not recall the lending group she was talking about. Well sneaky little Dukes lol, tells me you don’t owe the other pay day loan anymore my client has paid off that balance now you owe us for paying your debt off.
Guys and girls if you’re new to this please do not be intimated by these people they will try every tactic they can to get you to pay. Tell them mail you a copy of the complaint and u will look over it. Chances are they do not have you address reason being this is a collection agency what Ms. Dukes speaks about earlier “my client has bought and payed your debt” really means the account was charged off by the original pay day loan and sold to another collection agency who are called junk collections agencies.
They buy charge off accounts for little to nothing and try to get you to pay a higher balance. This is how they operate scamming hard working people who had good intentions of paying the loan back but for whatever reason were unable to.

Whoever called me just now (7:32AM Pacific Time) from this number, 800-333-7368... you do know that this is too early for you to be calling, right? And that there is nothing that will stop me from reporting this violation....right? Just saying!

called from same number as above. it was a recording telling me to press one for whatever 2 for something else. I pressed one. said to whom do you wish to speak.
Me: dont know you called me.
answerer: hold on
me- held on for 3 minutes and hung up. googled them. F rating on BBB site for just such things as listed above. IF they call back I will tell them what I discovered.

I got a call from this number to my job in which I don't answer 800 numbers or out of state numbers, but beware everyone just like they buy accounts they buy local numbers to .....Always remember one thing if you are being prosecuted/taken to court they DO NOT CALL YOU.....these companies hope you get nervous and send them money but then guess what that charged off from your previous loan sits on your credit report because you paid money to someone other than the company it originated with,.....DON'T SEND NO MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE.

Unprofessional. Fake. Called at 7am my time zone. Indication they don't know what hours to legally call.

these idiots called me and left no message! They need to be reported to FCC, FBI, BBB and whoever else! They are SCAMMERS!

I got a call from 800-333-7368 and also from 678-369-4316 today. This is a "Mr. Kott" at Epstein, Weinberg and Associates. They claim I owe an old payday loan. I told them to go scratch. Send me some proof. I will also be reporting them to the Alabama Arttorney General's Office.

Received a serious of calls and had a really bad feeling. They won't send me any kind of paperwork behind this at all.

just rec'd same message as above. never had a pay day loan, but hung up on them after waiting 3 mins.
