I answered the phone and a voice recording said "Sorry, I dialed the wrong number." Weird...

Same happened to me. Wonder why? ... out of curiosity, did you happen to sign up with Rippln recently? I wonder if this is one of their scam tools...

I got a call from them, called back and asked for my cellphone number, name and address. Im assuming someone sold our numbers to someone else. This is a clear scam, never heard of rippIn though. Also, after i said 'go [***] yourself' as my name, they hung up. Weird.
