I don't like being used.

i want to know the caller

Called my work - ID was Ithaca.  It is Navient Student Loan - Debt Collections.  And they called me at my work to find information for a relative for student loan debt.  They broke the debt collection rules for calling a relative of the (student loan) debt.  They want payment - they ain't gonna get it from me.  NOW that I know the ID and who they are, I know they will call me again since I answered (they called my work, so that too is a violation) and yes, they will get an earful from me!!!  Not my problem they don't or can't pay the debt - maybe Navient should use their resources to find the actual person instead of a relative.

Called and said I was a direct contact for a brother-in-law that I haven't seen or heard from in over 20 years trying to collect on some student loans. Why don't they spend their time and money hunting down the person they want instead of HARASSING people that are not even on the loans. I think I will contact the BBB and file a formal complaint against them and then turn it over to my lawyer and the FCC and charge them with harassment.

A Kay Rosso says she is from Navient, keeps calling about a Student Loan in my name and activity on my loan.  She asked for my SS#, other Personal Intormation.  No one in our family has EVER had a student loan, and I will NEVER give Personal Information over the phone.  She won't stop calling.  I called the Department of Education independently and verified there is no student loan in my name.  They gave me a number for the real Navient, and I called them as well and verified that there is no student loan in my name. I am still worried about Identity Theft.  Need to get a Credit Report.  I filed a complaint with the Department of Education Waste Fraud and Abuse Office of the Investigator General.  Hopefully they can help stop this Harassment and the Insanity.  Would suggest that others contact them as well and file a complaint.  Google US Department of Education, and file online or call their Hotline @ 1-800-647-8733

I received a phone call for a Cassie L.  The number that called me was 574-334-4995.  A lady called Lynn Miller left a message for Cassie regarding a "James Draper Jr."  She didn't refer to any student loans (as other entries on this list have referenced) but did say they had "programs in place" to help this guy and wanted Cassie to get tell her some contact information for him.

They left a voicemail saying I sent him papers in January (I didn’t) and he could help me resolve it. Then name dropped that he called my boyfriends ex wife. If he talked to her, good luck to him. She’s not pleasant. I called Navient and I’m all good with them.
