This guy Robin keeps calling my house, wanting me to call this number back and talk to him at ext.#3243, but I'm not going to , because they talk very rude and want information from whomever answers the phone, even my minor children, and he gives them hell if they say I'm not there, things like I doubt it and you need to tell me where she is.  This company is rude. I think it's ICS..I've had other calls from them the same way. Even when I speak to them myself.

a man named Danny Maze or Maize has been calling my ex-husband at this number and wanting to talk to me. I looked the number up on the internet and found this site.

I received a phone call for a family member from this number, i had tried to search for the number of this company but can't find anything. What kind of company is this, the 800 number comes up with no results

A coworker of mine received a call from this number and the person identified herself as Quila Polk from URS.  She was very vague and when she left her number she gave an (800); however, it came up as a (409) which is our local area code.  When I questioned her about this, she said it was a satellite office phone, but the company is listed in Houston which is 713.

John Hewell, URS ext 9314 from this phone number called people that I don't even know to harass them.  He couldn't be bothered to call me though.  I called the company to find out what they wanted and was given the runaround when I complained about him harassing people that he called.  I've never met one of the people that he called.  There should be a law against people like him.

Tammy Hicks.  x9185. Wanted a 'different' number for my sister.  I have NO idea how they got my number.  Of course, I didn't give my sister's number, and I have no intention of telling her to return the call.

Called my dad's house at a number I've never had and at an address I've never used.  Lied to my step-mom by telling her the number they had for me is disconnected.  Also claimed to have important documents for me.  Left the name Eric Coates at 800-353-5984 x 9098.

Just called the president of the company and threatened to sue his [***] big time if the company ever called me or my work again looking for my ex-husband's ex-wife.  They had to do a lot of damn digging to come up with MY name.

sittin at friends house when USB called for their sister, she hasn't lived here for atleast a years before friends got this number. Ieshia at ext.9327 was rather nice; apologized after i told her the sister no longer lived here, would have given her a contact number if i knew it (the sister is a real piece of work). but she's gonna have to settle for a messege...which i will make sure is delieved!

They have been calling me for a few months every other day and I haven't picked up until today. They claim to be from United Recovery Systems, but they got my name wrong. Probably a scam.

"Stacia" called my home. Company is obviously a collection agency. When I asked how she got my number, she said the person they are looking for listed me as a relative. Stacia was very rude, which got her nowhere.

A Barbara T. (ex. 9971) has been relentlessly harassing my parents for months now, asking for someone who doesn't even live there anymore. My parents know limited English and I think this rude woman takes that as a green light to persistently call day in and day out, assuming they're lying to her. She just recently called a niece who was completely lost and caught off guard about who this rude woman was who was calling her about a family member. This horribly rude twit accused my parents of lying to her every time she calls them, never mind the fact there is an obvious language barrier, she chooses the worst possible thing to accuse them of. This is the responsibility of the family member in question and this Barbara twit has the number. She has no business harassing my parents and other family members like this. She needs to crawl back into the hole she came from and stay there and leave us the hell alone.

call from 1-800-353-5984 shows on caller ID as CNM - Houston 9 1 281-925-1514.    Since when do we have to talk to callers  when they tell us the call will be recorded; are vague and rude; won't tell us what the call is in reference to; and tell us so-and-so has been an employee for quite some time.   Call was not urgent.   The person caller wanted to talk to  has long ago left the company anyway! !

Is this a new trend / scam?

Was the caler ID spoofed?

United recovery systems is now alltran financial.  They attempt to collect on behalf of Citibank.
