Collector for Farmers Insurance stemming from car accident that I was not responsible for; District Court judge dismissed the "failure to yield" charge against me.  The driver of the other car essentially caused her own accident; speeding & hit a parked car.  But Farmers wants damages.
Now I know who called because of this website & the post by GG 11/8/07.  My attorney sent them a letter to cease further contact but apparently the can't read.

They keep calling and harrassing me over an accident involving Farmer's Insurance that my deceased son was involved in.  My son died and they have been told this and they will not stop.  I sent the death certificate and have told them 15 times and they won't stop.  How can this place still be in business?  They need to be shut down!  Creeps!

CCS has been calling me 2-3 times a day for months trying to scam me out of over $3000 that I reportedly owe from an accident that occurred 2 years ago. My car was T-boned and completely totaled. At the time my insurance had lapsed so I had no coverage, so even though I was not at fault, I had to buy a new car out of pocket. The driver at fault was insured by All State, who refused to work with me since I had no insurance company to back me. The accident happened on private property so there was no 'no insurance' ticket issued to me. CCS is threatening all kinds of things like my license being suspended and jail time. HA! Unfortunately for them, I know that Allstate simply covered the cost of fixing their driver's car (uninsured motorist insurance) and then turned around and sold the "debt" to CCS. This happens all the time and there is nothing they can really do except harass me. I advise anyone who's getting calls from them to mess with them....act like you don't speak English, tell them a completely random story about elephants, whatever. These guys are vultures. Do not give them a penny, and DO NOT let them intimidate you.

Try maintaining your obligation to carry liabilty coverage. And google subrogation.

I don't need to google subrogation...  They are specialized collection agency that deals with insurance.  They are worse than collection agencies.  Collection Agencies are real people.  Subrogation agencies are heartless turds that don't understand when enough is enough.

They keep calling for someone named Broderick...that is not me. It's definitely a collection agency.

hello every one on the web. i knew who the 800-360-2821 number goes to. its the collection agent for Allstate, when other ppl take you plate # they can can file a claim saying you hit them. DMV gives Allstate the owner of the vhiecles info addy and if you have a # that as well. Keep note of how many times they call (they can only call 3 times a day with at lest one houre inbtween) and talk to you (if they talk to the person there they can't call any more that day in less the other person sd it was ok). keep notes of what took place in the call(you own the phone and don't know who there looking for just id your self giving first name they have to stop). I have given them my atty info (once you say you have atty they must get atty info and end call) many times and they say they never recived any thing, filed claim in my BK they keep calling (once filed in bk and finolized they can no longer collect), and won the cort case,(once they have prof that it never took place they are to collect from the person who filed the claim.) they have doc showing this. they still call. this is illigeal, I should know i work for a governmet back collection agent. and i would not have a job if i did ANY of this. Sorry spelling is bad hope you get the most out of it i use short hand in my work.

You are all a bunch of whiny people who have no idea what you are talking about. If someone calls and asks for the wrong person just tell them they have the wrong # don't make such a big deal of it. Believe it or not there are worse things in the world than wrong #'s. As for your accident, I myself was in an accident and had no insurance. I not only had to pay for the damage to the other car but to mine also and also had my license suspended. And believe it or not it was NOT a collection agency it was an attorney who worked on behalf of the insurance co. I did owe this it was my responsibility. So if I were you I would google subrogation and know what you are talking about.
