Got a call from Investigator Ross.  Trying to track down a couple that owns a car and not paying.  Said my dad's soc # came up when he searched and contacted me.  Was nice.  Did not seem that he was asking for any details.

They left a message under the name Investigator Chad.  They had my name and said they were investigator a fraud.  I didn't call back.

They called and left a VM asking for me to call them back "regarding a woman named Carrie Nordak using this address as her address"  and to return the call to Investigator Oliver.  The woman never said what address this Carrie Nordak is using and it sounding weird since I just moved.  I was calling the investigator back when I started reading these posts and decided it was best to hang up before actually talking to someone.

Received a call from investigator "Sarah" called and left a message saying that she was looking for someone and that the cased filed against this person was time sensitive. Don't know if this is one of those scams or not.

I received a call from an inspector Thomas, trying to reach me "in regards to a family member". She said it was important that I return her call tonight. I called and the phone never rang, it just disconnected. The call back number she left was 1800 360 5604 ext 4287. I gave up after calling all of my immediate family and verifying that they were ok.

This same person left me a message. Said it's part of an investigation. I never returned the call. Figured if the police want to talk to me, they know where to find me. Seemed to me like some stupid collector trying to be tricky. I'm not that stupid.

I THINK INVESTIGATOR OLIVER WAS A GODSEND. I RECENTLY LOST MY HUSBAND UNEXPECTEDLY. I GOT BEHIND ON MY CAR PAYMENTS BECAUSE OF HOSPITAL BILLS AND FUNERAL EXPENSES. INVESTIGATOR OLIVER CALLED ME WHEN I WAS 3 MONTHS BEHIND ON MY PAYMENTS AND I EXPLAINED MY LOSS TO HER AND TOLD HER THAT I REALLY WANTED TO KEEP MY CAR BUT ALL I HAD AT THE TIME WAS ONE PAYMENT. WE TALKED FOR OVER AN HOUR AND SHE WAS SO KIND AS TO MAKE THE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT NEEDED TO KEEP ME FROM LOSING MY CAR.
