- Pawldog| 1 replyThese crazy HSBC people are starting to get on my last nerve. They call about five times a day and I am not going to answer. I got someone else to answer once and she got an automative voice telling her to hang on a moment please..she did...they asked for me, and she told them I was not there. They hung up without a word. Forget them!

- BobThey or there machine calls about 5 times a day and never leaves a message. It has have called about 15 times in the last 3-4 days.
I thought they were not permitted to call more than 3 times a week under the fair credit reporting act, i will get my phone records and report them. - Grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!| 1 replyEvery day, they start calling to my house phone from 8:30 a.m. untill 10:00 p.m. I just don't answer my phone. Repeated number of calls (5 or 6) per day
I'm get mad about these guy or company. - RalphusI am late on my Best Buy card payments which is through these clowns. DO NOT set up a payment over the phone with them if u have a best buy card. They will skrew it up since the guy on the other end does not speak English. I made this mistake last week and now they have charged me $40 in extra fees for a returned check, even though there was plenty of money in my account to pay for the bill. I set up the next payment online but they still call 8-10 times a day, just press ignore. Also, they use 800-959-1373

- Kaththe calls keep coming and coming, all day starting at 8:00 to 10:00. I answer they hang up. What is wrong with these people. I do not have a Best Buy card, nor do I shop at Best Buy because they are too expensive. How can I get them to stop calling? I also get the other phone number 800-959-1373. How can I make this madness go away?
- Caller: unknown
- Big TSame deal as above, HSBC is a real black hole in the area of creditors. So I just block my cell phone from incoming calls that are not in my address book. No charges to my cell phone and they can just keep listening to my voice mail and not leaving a message. I make my payments on time and if not their is no need to have their automated call system keep attempting, hope it blows up one day and takes out their entire system.

- AlfalfaIf you have written proof that they have received your Cease Communications letter, you can now report them to the FTC for violation of Section 805 of the FDCPA:

(1) to advise the consumer that the debt collector's further efforts are being terminated;

- SUE THEM! replies to psycho miko| 1 replyIf you sent a certified letter and now have the green card proof but they are still caling you have a FDCPA violation. Congratulations they now owe you at least $1000 plus all your atty fees and costs. Assuming you have good phone records for multiple calls plus the green card your case is ironclad. Go to naca.net and find a lawyer in your area who does FDCPA litigation. They will take your case for no or little cost (which you get back if you win) and they are good and will tell you if you have a problem with your case. Also file the compliant with the FTC and your state AG office who may also go after them for additional fines. GET EM!!
