This is the “number to call”, for fake SDG&E payment of past due “charges”. Scam!
Don’t do it! Not SDG&E number. Plus, they don’t call you like this!

Fake San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) SCAM! Do not call them back. Block the number.

Scam, called SDG&E first time I got one of these calls. They notify in writing first.

Phone call came in on 619-441-3969 with a redirect to the 800-365-3081.

The 619 number is a legitimate SDG&E that the scammers are using to spoof the phone call.  If you call the 619 number it refers you to a legitimate SDG&E 800 number that is different than the scam caller's.

Fake SDGE (ROBO) caller - recording gave me the 800-365-3081 to call THAT DAY before the turned off my power due to non payment of bill.  I have solar electric and my $10+ gas bill had already been payed.  Did not call phishing number.

You received a call from that number yet you posted in this thread? Why?  Maybe you slept through the class on how to read numbers?

SCAM NUMBER - Autocall said it was SDGE and I was due for disconnection and to Press 1 to speak with customer service.  They then told me I owed $1,000 on a deposit for a smartmeter or my power meter would be removed at the scheduled time in 1 hour and I would have no power.  I said I didn't know anything about this - they said it was a mandatory deposit that would be held for 30 days and then refunded.  He said he could tale my payment and I said no I will call SDGE back.
