- WildCat| 2 repliesHSBC BANK has called my number several times throughout the day. I do not bank with them or owe them any money nor have I ever done any business with them, so therefore they should not be calling me lol. They are very persistant and will call as early as 8am and as late as 10pm. Normally I let the answering machine pick up but here lately I am getting fed up with them. If they keep this up, I will file a complaint and believe me...it will get ugly lol

- Student| 1 replyI've gotten several calls on my cell from this number and from 800-365-6732. I picked up for the first time today and they claimed to be HSBC and that I owed a mortgage payment. I don't even have a mortgage. Nor have I ever even heard of HSBC before these calls.
- Caller: HSBC
- tiredofhsbcI have been getting calls at work and home all day long. I usually ignore, but now they are going thru my HR department. I have been informed that it is against the law for them to call you at work. I am about to write them a letter to get them to leave me alone!

- GATRFAN replies to HeStuckMeWithTheBill| 1 replyHow do you block an 800 number. This number comes up on my business fax line all day long. You would think that when they hear a fax they would delete the number.
What a pain they are. - jenohio| 1 replyGot a brand new cell phone and got 3 calls for this number in 3 days-- all around 2:15-2:30 pm. No voicemail. I haven't given the cell phone number to anyone. This is really annoying.

- DAI have received this number a lot on my cell phone and decided to call them. As I assumed, the person who once had my (new) cell phone number is who they are looking for. The girl who answered from HSBC said next time they call, answer and tell them the situation and they should note it in their file and not call again.

- flamingoThey call every day from 8am until 9pm. They have even called my husband at work several times (which is totally against the law), and have called me at work (my phone at work has caller ID, so they get the voicemail instead). They will also call even if you have made a payment to them or have them paid off completely. They have had several complaints against them, and have been sued too many times to count, and yet, they still keep calling!!

- GiantFan replies to GATRFANVerizon has a service that is called "Call Intercept". You can enter up to 25 numbers to BLOCK from reaching your phone, including "800" numbers. The problem is once you've blocked a couple of numbers they start to use other toll-free numbers. You'll just have to keep adding numbers until the calls stop.
- Debbie TaylorThe number they are calling is my work number - this has to stop~!

- NateI had just received my new phone and they called me alot looking for someone named Michael, which of course doesn't live here, so I asked to speak to a manager and told him that I had repeatedly asked them to stop calling me and if they didn't stop by the next day I would be calling the FCC. I did this yesterday and so far no calls.

- JohnApparently HFC sent a check to my house. It wasn't a lot of money but it happened at the same time we were helping my son buy a car.
The check was in my wifes name and my son signed it in his name and cashed it at the bank. Armed with a little extra money (he was working and had been saving) my sixteen year old contributed more money than we expected.
It took them almost six months to cath up to us as we did not start sending money that we didn't know we owed, or should I say my son owed.
At first we denied it. Then we discovered the issue. Our only option was that we charge our son with a FELONY, that was the only way we could come out clean or start paying. So, we did punish our son for stupidity and he has been working and making payments. That should be it right?
Because it was almost a year after that we started making payments, and that was at their suggestion, they still call up to 21 times a day from four different numbers. Answering them does no good. We have had to get an attorney, it is costing us dearly, and it will end up hurting us and our credit.
The best way to handle this is to tell all your freinds and hurt HFC and HSBC by taking their business away one customer at a time. They are so big and connected they can make your life miserable and they will.- Caller: HSBC/HFC
- annoyedI keep getting calls from this number. They ask for someone I don't know and even after I've told them repeatedly that whoever they're looking for is not at my number, the calls continue.
