    Number checks out - it's on the SBA's web site (https://www.sba.gov/offices/disaster/dapdc).  It's for loan processing (EIDL or PPP programs).

    Regardless of what the above poster has said, there is absolutely no way for you to know if it is the SBA calling or if the number is being spoofed.  There is a greater chance the number is being spoofed because they want you to think that it is an actual government agency calling.  They spoof actual numbers all the time.
