Received a call from this "First Data", came up Unknown number but they left 800-377-1809 to call back on.  When I called them, they had me verify my phone number and name only, no CC info was asked for, in fact they verified my credit card and told me they couldn't find anything on me, but that I should contact the fraud department of my credit union as soon as they open.  I will be calling them the minute they open.  Because of this, they are holding my paycheck !!!

First Data is a credit card processing company.  There would be no reason for them to be calling you.  The call should have come from your Credit Union.  I fail to see how you paycheck is being held by them as well.

So my paycheck was just late posting .... HOWEVER, after I talked to my bank and found that there were no fraudulent transactions or activity on my account, I asked them who they used for Security Monitoring on their customer accounts ... it was NOT FIRST DATA ... they use a totally different company.

There are a FEW RED FLAGS HERE .... 1) my Credit Union stated they would have called my personal cell phone, not my work phone. 2) they called me by my entire full name, my Credit Union stated they would have only referred to me as "Anne" not my full given name. 3) the message that they left was nearly 5 mins long of the same thing over and over "this is FIRST DATA representing "insert your bank here", there has been fraudulent activity on your card ending in XXXX, please call XXX-XXX-XXXX immediately", this statement is repeated like 7-10 times over and over.  My Credit Union stated they would just leave their name, number and a case number for me to call back to.

This FIRST DATA called me again just a few minutes ago, again stating there had been fraudulent activity on my credit/debit cards.  They had my CC information, I did NOT verify anything with them and told them to stop calling.

Actually, I called my bank and they DO NOT use FIRST DATA, they use a totally different security monitoring company.  So I am about 99% sure this is some kind of new scam.
