This number came through as "Unavailable" this am. Anyone have experience with it?

Toll free numbers are very hard, to impossible to trace. No message? Don't call them back. Got a message? Research it first before you decide what to do. Toll free calls, where there is no information in the caller ID, and no message left, are a high indication of a scam. Not every time, but enough to exercise caution. As always, give out no personal, or financial information on a call you did not make, from a number you verified as correct.

Wells Fargo Line of Credit collections department. Call to remind you your payment was due last week.

got a call no one on the line

Received numerous calls from  800-377-1877. I picked up two days ago and it was someone claiming to be with Wells Fargo. She did not ask me any security questions to prove who I was before asking me to make a payment(Red Flag). I hung up after a few choice words. I called Wells Fargo today(12/06/17) and asked about this number. The rep informed me that she did not have that number on record as a Wells Fargo number. I would be careful handing out personal info to anyone calling from this number. I always use the number on my Statement to call.

This number calls several times a day ( home phone land line with answering machine) caller id says Wells Fargo Bank. leaves no message and hangs up as soon as they hear a answering machine pick up.

ID says Wells Fargo but no message left.  Wells Fargo will never call you and NOT leave a message.  This is a SCAM.  Beware!
