I just got a text message someone that said:

"Finance Center FCU Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 800-377-3630 to REACTIVATE your CARD."

It listed this number as the callback.  I'm assuming it's a scam.

I got the same text. I assume that it is a scam as well

Just got the same text from an unknown source. I have never heard of Financial Center FCU.

I just received the exact same text and have NO IDEA what FCU is.  Frustrating....

My cell phone was charging and when I picked it up it had a message from this number.  I did not understand the message as it was just a bunch of numbers.  I do not know who is at this number but would love to see it deactivated.

Received same text about my card being deactivated. Does anyone know what happens if you call the number?

I got one of these calls on my wireless last night (1/26 @ 21:26 EST) and it said the same thing.  I hope Verizon does not charge me for receiving this spam text.  I am a little p!$$ed, to say the least.

I called the number and it hung up after 7 seconds everytime.

My wife & I both got the message on our Verizon cells at the same time as a pic msg. The "from" address was 20090128170621.650EC1C8001@spamass3.serve.com . The reply address showed as www@spamass3.serve.com .  The message told us that our Heritage Bank card had been deactivated (we don't have any dealings with Heritage) and we should call 800-377-3630. Obviously this is spam/phishing, but I want to know how they got our cell numbers (they're not sequential or anything close). That's all I need, someone spamming my cellphone now, as if crap in email wasn't bad enough.
