This phone number is for a sleazy scammer who sends "final notices" to consumers with zero information in them that still imply they have critical information for you.

With literally a fake check with the signature portions on the back and water marks and account numbers what is some kind of allocated waiver and it says this is not a check. There's no company info,.shady businesses like this need to be [***] down

Received "FINAL NOTICE" from ??. There's no company name but ask that I call immediately.  There's also an "allocated waiver" in the amount of $195.00 but says it's not a check? Who & what is this scam about?

Got same letter, alarm bells go off immediately (always afraid of home mortgage theft) since I owe very little 10% on my home.

I am executor of sister’s  estate.  My address is her estate’s mail forwarding address. Received Final Notice/Allocated Waiver non-check for $195 addressed sister at my address w envelope indicating “for mortgagee only”  - “immediate response requested”. Clearly a scam as she has never lived at or been owner or debtor for my property and she resided in a distant state. Guessing perhaps scammer might be trolling USPS mail forwarding data base for mailing list.

The local police will not do anything about junk mail - not their jurisdiction.
If you truly feel it is a scam, then take the mail piece (including the envelope) to your local Post Office and tell the clerk behind the counter that you think it is mail fraud and you want it forwarded to the local Postal Inspector for investigation.
The USPS cannot do anything about something they have not been told about.

We got this "Final Notice" and "check" in the mail also.  It  says our property is "secured by your current lender" - has our address listed.  We don't have a lender - house i s paid for.  I did not call the phone number.  Then a few days later WE GOT A CALL FROM THEM!  Caller ID was a local number - probably spoof number.  A lady talked fast and had an accent - couldn't understand alot of what she said.  She then transferred me to someone and I told her we are not interested and hung up.  What a SCAM!  They probably were trying to get money from us or take over the property!!  I googled the call-back phone number on the mailing (800-379-3501) and it says "High Spam Risk".
