- cagurlI get the same thing. The sam voice and message every time.. I almost think it's computer recorded or something. They never say who they're calling for either. I was getting calls out of the blue for a person I've never heard of..and I've had my # for almost 2 yrs so I'm pretty sure it's for this person..

- LLL replies to Okie| 1 replyI called it simply because I was tired of getting the calls and I wanted to tell them stop - I got a recorded message that told me there was updated information on the numer and that I should say "yes" after the tone to get it. I hung up. then I got a text message on the cellular phone from which I called it that said to reply "Y" to get the upated information and that it would cost me $9.95. So DON'T call them, DON'T say "yes" for the updted information. Since they will have your recorded voice, it authorizes them to do pretty much whatever they want, the least of which - no doubt - is pay them $9.95. SCAM - I hate those people. How do they live with themselves?
- Loeffel Steel ProductsWe receive automated or computer generated calls several times per week. There is no person on the line, only a recorded message sayint to call them at this number in an attempt to resolve an issue. They obviously do not say the name of the person they would like to return the call. I looked them up on the internet and one person posted that they had tried calling and he/she was asked to pay $9.95 for additional recorded information. Needless to say I'm not calling them back from this company phone and would like these calls to stop unless they are legitimit and are made by a person with the name of who should get the call.

- pinky85We first got a call from them on March 30th regarding an account we had that went into collections. Since I knew the account they were talking about I went ahead and spoke to the representative. My husband called back later that day to set up a pymnt arrangement with them and they called back when they said they would the next day (March 31). Our first payment is for $115 that was supposed to be taken out on April 1 (yesterday). When I checked our account today it didn't show that amount being taken out. I called and they said it would take 3-4 business days. This would normally be ok except for the fact, which I barely realized, that they never in any of the calls asked for information to confirm that we were the account holders and this last agent I spoke to told me that he showed the arrangement being made without getting my name or account information and I was calling from a different phone number than the one we did all our previous communications on. Now I'm not sure whether we just got scammed and someone out there has our banking account and routing # which they could access any time. I'm going to keep a close eye on this for the next couple of weeks to see what happens.

- KarenI keep receivng calls from the too trying to collect 118.00 on a Mobil Account from 1997 (12 years old). I paid this account in 2000 directly to Mobil, I have spoken with Mobil who said the account is paid and they will not stop calling me. The messages say they have mailed correspondence to my home (when I ask them about this they say it was sent) and tonight I gave them a fax number and they said they will try to fax the collection letter tomorrow. They also asked me if I had a receipt that it was paid (I shred everything after 5 years).

- adomangue replies to OkieI have been getting calls from them as well. I ignored them at first because I am not behind on any bills and thought the calls were spam. I decided that I would call them back and end this. I was told that I was a reference on a Capital One bank account for my ex-brother-in-law. I had a fit then I contacted Capital One to iquire about the account.
Capital One told me that they do not put people on as a reference without knowlege of a co-named person. The bank told me that they do not have any paperwork on the account because it was turned over to a collection agency. I was told to call the collection back again and get a copy of what they have. I did, and as told that they never contacted me in the first place and refused to tell me how they got my name and number.
I have contacted the DA's office because I am not sure who is scamming who. - NikkiL replies to LLLI don't think that u have the correct # - NAFS is a collection agency - for whom I work for. We do have an auto message - but it doesn't update information. It's just a recorded message that goes out to people whom have acct's in our office...when u speak with a rep. in our office they will ask for updated info...
- Big BirdDon't just stop with the FTC file an online complaint with FCC (Federal Communications Commission) if you don't get a "human" on the other end in 2 seconds after you answer, It's under "ABANDONED CALLS",
(They can't call you if they don't have the equipment to do it with !)
Give it a try ,I did with the "OTHERS" and it stopped them unlike "the do not call list's".- Caller: 800 395 4094
