Scam. Says it's Georgia Power and they'll cut your power unless you call and pay them.

Gainesville Regional Utilities claiming they would cut power unless the 800 number was called.

Claimed to be Tacoma Public Utilities, claimed they would disconnect the power in 30 minutes if I didn't call the number and settle the bill. Checked my bill online and it's up to date... so scam.

Same thing as person above. Claimed to be Tacoma Public Utilities. Had a very professional sounding phone system. identified themselves as Tacoma Public Utilities even. Said i had to pay a deposit to keep service on. Once I googled this number though I hung up on them.

Why is it not possible to grab those thieves on their most sensitive part and punish them for the frustrations and angers they permanently cause to a lot of innocent people!!!? Tacoma Public Fricking Utilities

Same thing here! Just received a phone call from a female calling herself Karen Thomson,  stating that I owe over $2000.00 for not paying my power bill. I knew this was a scam when she told me that the power company is coming over in 30 minutes and that they are taking the meters away and i won't get any power for 15 business days!  so, I hung up on her and called the real Tacoma utilities and it seems that they are getting a bunch of residents calling to report the scam... The scammers somehow got the real recording and they sound JUST LIKE tacoma utilities.... unreal

Exact same thing as above😡. TPU calling about disconnecting power!  Robo Scam!
