800-401-5043

Receive multiple calls throughout the day from 800-401-5043. Each time we answer, the line disconnects. On callback, there's a recorded message from the "energy enrollment department" and a prompt to leave a message, then a slight pause followed by a notice that the voicemail box is full and cannot hold anymore messages.

I get several calls from this number everyday.  I have threatened to sue them for phone harassment, but they continue to call.  I have told them they have the wrong person--but they call everyday, sometimes 2-3 times per day, including Sundays!!

I have gotten NUMEROUS calls from this number. As many as five back to back. There is never anyone on the other end.

They call again - 15 minutes later - ring 7 times till answering machine picks up - then doesn't leave a message/hang up

I get several "hang up" calls a day. I finally decided to trace the number with *69 and it was this number.  Theory: They are using a voice print to decide whether to talk to the person who answers. Not far fetched anymore, considered the power of voice recognition. My guess would be to avoid talking to other people who would be screening the calls.

Got same thing - I answered hello and a hang up - then I did the *69 and ended up here :0

They called 9 times today!!!!  Same as everyone else - hang ups whether we answer or the machine!

Count us in too.  Today there was an actual person on the line, more than once even, and they wanted to talk to the person who handles our gas bill.  That's me and I wasn't home any of the several times they called .  They finally said they'd take us off auto-dial.  We don't live in Ohio, by the way, so I don't know what the connection to IGS is.  Very strange.

Drunken message left from this number about perfume and car odor??????

We have the same problem. They call all the time and hang up. Someone finally asked to speak to the the person that handles the gas bill.

I get multiple calls from them, and also from an Econnergy, Energy Systems (845-620-4156).

Since the 401 number seems to be energy related, I wonder if the two are related.

I get the same responce. I pick up the phone at least 10 times a day from these people, and they dont answer. Thanks guys for posting the customer service number. I noticed that they started calling when i switched over to comcast digital voice. I also enrolled my number at the national do not call list. Well good luck everybody!

I had 5 calls from this number today and was only present for the last one - they called at 10:50pm!!!!!!!! Some guy who sound like he was drunk kept repeating "hello?". I told the jerk he had a wrong number and stop calling!!!!! This number appears on my list of calls daily - EVERY DAY!! Every day I get from 5 to 10 calls from this number!!!!!!! This number needs to be disconnected - permanently!!

Very confusing

Just got two of these calls today Sept 11, 2007. I told the first one to take us off their call list so what did they do?...waited a couple hours and called back. I didn't answer but went directly to the National Do Not Call list and put our number there so now it is illegal for them to call.

I keep getting calls from this number (866) 636-8575. If I answer, there is a recording. If I don't, they don't leave a message, and if I call back I get a recording in which I have to either input my SSN or the account number. I don't have an account with them! Anyone knows how to get rid of them?? They call 3-5 times a day!
