LOL A scam trying to get money from me... i switch from nextel to spirnt and they some how picked up on it.. they told me i had a balence due... asking for credit card or check. but they did not want to anseerw my qustions and hung up on me...

Once a day this number calls my phone and wants me to call them back. I am getting annoyed with this and wish they would stop.  If you are getting this number do not call it. This is some type of scam!!!!

I got a call from this (800) 401-7073 number. The woman leaving the voicemail sounded like a robot. She left her name, tho -- Michelle Ball. She also left her extension -- 3361. Curious.

ANOTHER CALL RECIEVED BY THIS GROUP,CALLED THE NEXTEL CS NUMBER THEY SAID SENT OUT LAST BILL TO ADDRESS OF RECORD..NO SUCH RECIEPT AS USPO IS REQUIRED TO ADD A YELLOW ADDRESS LABEL TO ANY CARD RETURNED BY A RESIDENT IN ANY AREA WITH INFO AND ALL CREDITORS HAVE TO ALLOW U A SET TIME TO PLACE A ADDRESS CORRECION ON THE BACK OF A BILL. THE USPO WILL CONTINUE TO PLACE A STICKER FOR 1 YR FROM DATE INDICATED.. THATS A FED MANDATE.. AND SINCE MY MOTHER WAS A CO-SIGNER SHE DID NOT RECIEVE ANY NOTICE ON DEFAULT. EITHER..THE CELL NUMBER WAS TRANSFERED TO ATT AND IT IS STILL A VIABLE NUMBER..A GOOD COMPANY WOULD TRY ALL OPTIONS OF CREDIT INQUIRES PRIOR TO DOING THIS.. I CHALLENGED THE FACT THEY HAD NO FORWARD ADDRESS AS TECHNICALLY DOES NOT MATTER.. U SEND A CARD TO USPO FOR ADDRESS CORRECTION ALL MAIL SHOULD HAVE ONE TIL U ACTUALLY CHANGE IT MANUALLY OR BY PHONE TO A CREDIT ENTITEE..

CALLS EVERY MORNING BETWEEN 8 - 8:15. COMPUTER GENERATED CALL. SPOKE TO LIVE BODY & ASKED NOT TO CALL MY NUMBER THIS EARLY AS I WORK AT NIGHT AND THE CALLS DISTURB MY SLEEP. IN ADDITION, THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR DOES NOT LIVE HERE. LADY WAS VERY RUDE, REFUSED TO IDENTIFY HERSELF, AND HUNG UP ON ME.  CALLS CONTINUE EVERY MORNING.

I don't owe a penny to anyone!!! These fools keep calling my house and leaving messages on my machine daily. This same company did this about a year ago and I called them back and basically had it out with them. They refused to identify themselves. They said they had to have my name and address before they would tell me who they were and what they wanted. I may have taught them a few new words that day but the calls stopped until now!! I guess I need to call them with a few more choice words. Don't worry about these idiots if you know you don't owe anyone!!!!

These people keep calling my house all hours,i dont know who they are or what they want, but it should be against the law for 800 numgers to call your place of residence before or after hours.

Same problem as all the comments above: call at any time of the day, sounds fishy to me, etc. Most collections agencies use snail mail to contact you.

So...My question is how do you stop them from calling? There must be some sort of legal protection. I don't want to hire an attorney - it will cost.

Somebody anybody lets get together on how to stop these B______s.

They call my cell every day at 9:15 for the last 2 years. ive ignored them long enuff.  with my call records in hand im going to the D.A. and im hiring an attorney. ive had enuff of this [***].....

Looking for someone who NEVER lived here, left three annoying computer calls. So I spoke to a very brusk man who stated that my number would be taken 'off the list'.

The sad part about the bogus calls is that no matter where you try to call to report them; it boils down to calling the police...so I am told.  I pull the bull**** card on this answer. As telephone customers we should be given the rights to who calls us.

get these calls everyday, dont know who they are or why theyre are calling ....they are always spanish calls...asking for Jorge...have tried to tell them i just go this number....just erase their [***] when they call

I am getting calls from this # and they leave a message as if I called them, trying to get me to believe I can easily make money, etc.  Just need to go the website they tell me to. It is definitely a scam.

These mother fu*** called me today asking me to call some guy and reference number, according to them is a collection agency and blah blah, i dont owe money to no one

I git this call everyday for about a mounth, its always a computer voice telling me to call thim at this other number. im sorry if you realy whunt to talk to me thin atleast have b**ls enuf to call me in person. dont sit on youer fat a$$ and have a computer call me.

They continually call my business from this number and sometimes its a recording other times its a person but it always at 8 or 9 at night.  I believe they said they were NCO but I could be mistaken.  I dont have a debt and this is so annoying how do I make it stop???

I called them back doing *67 to Block  & they Looked up my Phone Number That's Illegal; Program.  Called AT&T. to report it.

Someone named Tracy Black called saying it was from Central Credit Services. They called asking for my husband but only asked by his first name. They just wanted him to call back and I asked them to send him any communication by the mailing address they had in system. She replied she did not have that information, so I just hung up. Previous to that she wanted to verify info of SSN and DOB..to which I replied NO, that she should provide it because i was not giving any information because there was too much Fraud going on ;-)
